So by the end of September we were really feeling cabin fever. Therefore, the very first weekend in October we took a short road trip to the eastern shore of Maryland- to the beach! Life is an Adventure. Sunday, September 18, 2011. After three blissful days in Disneyland, we drove the 10 hours back to Reno. The drive was tolerable, really. There were some really picturesque places in that desert we drove through. There was the most beautiful rainstorm at one point in the middle of the desert. And Jim is just a sucker for those small towns. Independance, California really captured his attention with its quaintness. The even had Italian Gelato. Mmmmmm! And cousin Mark with his two kids.

Kyah and Sequoia's Orchestra Concert. Kyah and Sequoia's Last Concert together. At the end of the school year all Orchestra students from Logan school district come together for a concert. My Grandma passed away. Adeline Estelle Wilson 1929-2012. My grandmother was a very outspoken woman, who always told you what she thought. Even if it hurt your feelings and scared you for life. The earliest memories I have of her are from visiting her at her home in Clammoth Falls Oregon. The house was gorgeous with a spiraling staircase that was just perfect for pushing slinkies down. and beautiful views all around. Sunday, October 6, 2013. Here's the latest and greatest from the Vickers clan. My ribs finally feel like they are healing. At first when I was adjusted it felt like hot fire. It was so painful! Then, a month later, Mark shared the viral flu with me. Oh the agony! My neighbor gave me a breathy thing, (she's a nurse) and upon seeing how little I could get the blue thing up said I had "smokers lungs."
