Sunday, November 29, 2009. I also blogged about brining. Brining was relatively easy, cheap and definitely worth it - our turkey was the juiciest turkey we've ever tasted, thanks to the brining. Matt, who is not a huge fan of turkey, is now a firm believer in brining. Here is a picture of the end result:. Sunday, January 11, 2015. I cannot believe that it's been 6 years since this little lady came into our lives! Happy 6th Birthday Kaylen! We had a mini celebration at home on her birthday! Tie dye cupcakes with blue frosting (her fave color right now) and 6's and peace signs and a K and zebra print on the cupcakes! We also made 30 more to send to school (her poor teacher)!
