Learning How to Bend. From Portland to Portland and Beyond. Sunday, December 13, 2009. On Being with Other People and Liking It. I seriously need some water but I am resisting going downstairs because I really want to get something done and if I leave, well, there goes my focus. So, hello focus, where are you? I want to try to write about Marion. Why am I so thirsty? On Being with Other People and Liking It. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Accepting Asperger's (my other website). Q&A: Online IQ tests.

Wednesday, January 28, 2009. New thing to worry about. I need help from parents out there. I'm really concerned over Wes' new "trick". I apologize if this is too graphic, but I'm at a loss. Has anyone else experienced this? What was your course of action? I'm really lost here. Links to this post. Monday, January 26, 2009. That's using your noggin. So tonight is a big night for him. We have tried using the toddler bed feature on his crib and that turned into a disaster but I can't leave him in the cri...

http://jessica-mom2boys.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 26, 2008. Happy Birthday my boy. Today, Wesley turns 4. I always had a hard time picturing myself with a child who wasn't a baby. I guess because I wanted a. So badly that I couldn't get past the baby stage. Well, now my baby is a child. No longer the little bundle I so longed for, but a child who fills my heart with love. Links to this post. Tuesday, October 21, 2008. Today, Wes was supposed to start aquatic therapy. I had heard some good things from other parents and I figured. Wes will...

A World Away: Accidents Happen
http://jessica-mom2boys.blogspot.com/2009/04/accidents-happen.html
Thursday, April 9, 2009. Wes is in the middle of a constipation cycle. He was given goldfish crackers on Monday and accidentally given cheese on Tuesday. He still isn't eating well on the new foods. I did get him to take a whole EO. 28 Splash yesterday so that's good. I took a trip to a natural market in another city and found some cereal bars that are very similar to Nutri. I've been giving him Miralax. But worried about him getting too much. Maybe we should stop the EO. Yesterday, Wes had a follow up a...

One of our local favorites came home yesterday to give two outstanding performances. Dan Zanes. Has become a favorite around here. Particularly his song "Hello". The skies opened up and poured down w...

http://learninghowtobend2009.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Learning How to Bend. From Portland to Portland and Beyond. Saturday, March 6, 2010. The first time I've has time in Portland to myself in probably 4-6 weeks - and it was great. I was lucky. Nate picked me up at 12 noon. It was so warm I only needed a sweatshirt, no coat - 54 degrees it said. Then when I got there, Kristen, who I was supposed to meet there,. Which it did just in time for Nate to come. We went to the light house in South Portland,. And walked on the rocks that lead to it, which took about...

Learning How to Bend. From Portland to Portland and Beyond. Sunday, March 15, 2009. Bradbury Mountain, Maine. Yes, I know it's been a while since I've posted here. Long story. Short version is:. I am no longer in New York; I am back in Maine. Due to above fact, I decided to discontinue this blog; but had nowhere to put the writing I did today with the oh so pretty picture, so decided that it would make a comeback. March 14, 2009. Let's go to Wolfe's Neck," said my friend N.". Or how about Bradbury? We go...

Learning How to Bend: More Maine thoughts
http://learninghowtobend2009.blogspot.com/2009/11/more-maine-thoughts.html
Learning How to Bend. From Portland to Portland and Beyond. Sunday, November 29, 2009. I will be creative. Okay. Well, quite a day today with that trip but I did it. I should be proud of myself. I did something difficult. So I will be okay. The plan is , I hope I can get to sleep and get seven hours of sleep. And feel somewhat rested. Normally after a long trip I would not attempt to do something diffficult the next day but doing nothing would be worse so , so be it. Yea. Be brave. You can tolerate them&...

A World Away: Hello Floor. Meet Nose.
http://jessica-mom2boys.blogspot.com/2009/06/hello-floor-meet-nose.html
Monday, June 22, 2009. Hello Floor. Meet Nose. Life with boys is interesting at best and frustrating at worst. Boys are rough, tough, and very active. I'm finding it not easy to relate to their little world. The bright spot is, having a little brother when you have autism is a blessing. Casey will not give up on his older brother when it comes to playing. He adapts to Wes' playing habits and that's not always a good thing. This comment has been removed by the author.
