Vagabond Crafts: Candlemaking how to
http://vagabondcrafts.blogspot.com/2009/01/candlemaking-how-to.html
Wednesday, January 7, 2009. So I made another batch of candles yesterday, and actually remembered to take pictures during the process. So tutorials for everyone! Candlemaking is really, seriously easy; the most difficult part is breaking up the wax, and you don't even necessarily need to do that (you can buy wax in stores to melt down more easily). The best thing about candle making is that it's so easy to recycle - just keep old candles after the wick has run out, and you can use the wax to make new ones.

Vagabond Crafts: The shoulder bag of wonder.
http://vagabondcrafts.blogspot.com/2008/12/shoulder-bag-of-wonder.html
Tuesday, December 30, 2008. The shoulder bag of wonder. So my most recent project has been a lovely shoulder bag project from tiny happy. I love this particular purse pattern because it only requires fabric and buttons to complete, so you don't have to deal with (or buy) fasteners or zippers. The inside of the bag is a sheet music pattern I really adore. The straps long enough that you could probably carry it like a messenger bag (across the shoulder). Here's the link to the tutorial again.

http://vagabondcrafts.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 26, 2009. What I've been up to lately. So I've gone back to school (and with it, work) just recently and thus haven't been posting nearly often enough. But I have been creating diligently. I made a hobo bag for my mother in law. And a bag for my shop. I'll be working on a purse tutorial soon so keep checking back! Posted by Bree Anna. Wednesday, January 7, 2009. Wax of some sort, either from old candles, or wax bought at a craft store. A coffee can to melt the wax in (metal, of course).

Vagabond Crafts: Meet Ralph.
http://vagabondcrafts.blogspot.com/2008/12/meet-ralph.html
Tuesday, December 30, 2008. Ralph is a sewing machine I recieved from my mother for Christmas. *. He is wonderful, and much less old than the sewing machines I've used in the past (and thus less easy to break, thank Jesus). Unfortunately for Ralph, I've hardly sewn at all since my junior high sewing class, where I spent more time getting detentions from the teacher than I did actually sewing. So we're taking baby steps here. The first thing I did was made a little baggie for a Christmas gift for my aunt:.
