Sunday, January 30, 2011. Since we've only got one day left of January(seems like it's been here forever! I thought I'd share a decorating tradition of my mother's that I've decided to carry on. Since we spend all Christmas serving with, eating on, and wrapping red and white patterns, Mom trades the red out for blue when the new year hits. Thursday, May 26, 2011. Enjoy What You Eat. Yet another cupcake shop has opened in downtown Greenville. I couldn't be happier since I believe cupcakes should be a big part of your diet. My mom, almost-sister, brother, and friends went to Falls Park for a picnic today and I took a dozen "Death by Chocolate". They were pretty good, which I expected since they were $2.50 a piece. My mom said to me, "what happened to your sugar/gluten/yeast/wheat free diet"? A great read for anyone worried about what they eat.

Friday, February 18, 2011. 8222;Endlich habe ich mal ein Wochenende ohne Arbeit." At last I have a weekend without work (. As a German blogger so aptly put it). This was the first weekend in a while that I didn't have to work either Saturday or Sunday. I think the last time that happened was when I went on vacation. Last September. Wednesday, June 29, 2011. Happy birthday, sis! For my sister's birthday this year, I took an idea from Pinterest and did something special. She's still asleep in this picture. Thankfully she didn't wake up when I was bringing them in! June 29, 2011 at 2:45 PM. So that was what the armloads of balloons were for. I spied them through my window and was curious. ;-D.
