Feathers in the Nest: My Favorite Place at Home to Knit During the Summer
https://feathersinthenest.blogspot.com/2015/07/my-favorite-place-at-home-to-knit.html
Feathers in the Nest. Where journaling and homesteading meet in the North Georgia Mountains. Sunday, July 26, 2015. My Favorite Place at Home to Knit During the Summer. Hot weather or not, I like the wicker chaise and the sounds of nature to inspire when I'm knitting. I like to spread out on the wicker chaise with fresh cushions and comfy pillows with the fan going on the back porch. It's my form of meditation. When blocked I hope it uncurls and looks more like this one. Just chillin' while grillin'.

Feathers in the Nest. Where journaling and homesteading meet in the North Georgia Mountains. Saturday, January 17, 2015. Abigail's New Winter Coat. Miss Abbie recently got a new Winter coat. She gets one every Christmas. Perhaps, it's a tradition now as it was when I was a little girl, and I for sure got one from my daddy every Christmas. Anyhoo, she is sporting a pretty muted-pink and cream, houndstooth pattern with gold buttons and fleece -lined. She just wanted to share some love. Links to this post.

Feathers in the Nest. Where journaling and homesteading meet in the North Georgia Mountains. Monday, January 26, 2015. Budgeting and Simplifying for the New Year January. I probably will make this maybe a weekly post as it's such a good topic and I've learned so very much from following some You Tuber's and websites for organizing, ideas for practical usage of items in your home, and how to budget (well that part came from my mama). Here are the factors that I consider when I look at the year in general:.
Feathers in the Nest: Kaihola Shawl --New Start
https://feathersinthenest.blogspot.com/2015/07/kaihola-shawl-new-start.html
Feathers in the Nest. Where journaling and homesteading meet in the North Georgia Mountains. Saturday, July 18, 2015. Kaihola Shawl - New Start. I have some yarn in my stash that is luscious and yummy from my Washington DC trip and my visit to Looped Yarnworks. I held it like a treasure for a while and found the shawl I wanted to use this for on Ravelry. It is a free pattern named Kaihola by Heidi Alander. Made a world of difference to have the set up rows right. I learned the KYOK. I think I have enough...

Wednesday, April 23, 2014. April Stitch from Stash. Hello All and Happy Spring! I know the calendar says it's spring but here in PA Spring seems to have gotten lost on the way here! Getting it back in order for guests. The curtains and linens are all washed up and fresh. Friends are truly the best therapy. This is true. Pick a cup and your favorite flavor of tea. I unfortu...
