Oak Hills, Austin TEXAS: June 2009
http://texaslipthink.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Oak Hills, Austin TEXAS. Friday, June 19, 2009. Hibernation doesn't always happen in winter. When lizards are cold they like to sun themselves on the rocks, soak in the warm rays of the morning. I find myself also hibernating, coming out only to shop for groceries, hair color or some odd essential. I used to enjoy the occational shopping trips, when you can spare the few bucks. It is so difficult to spend now, money or time, so I hibernate. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Soduel: West Hill Picnic Top
http://soduel.blogspot.com/2012/08/west-hill-picnic-top.html
Wednesday, August 1, 2012. West Hill Picnic Top. The lovely Heather of Featherty Sews. You hang on to a piece of fabric because you feel it has to be used in a special way. Or you don't want to risk wasting it? So where my fear and indecision slammed the window shut on sewing for Soren there was still a crack in Ms. Ella's window. Ella won the lottery on this fabric and luckily she is horse crazy too. Pattern: Oliver and S Picnic Top. Fabric: West Hill by Heather Ross. Trim: Black maxi piping. If you use...

All The Wyld Things: February 2011
http://allthewyldthings.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
All The Wyld Things. Saturday, February 5, 2011. One Dollar Sewing Books. I woke up to a beautiful morning today-beautiful weather in the low twenties, a nice break from the 36-43 degree weather we've had the past week. So I decided to visit a park in one of the eastern suburbs with William. While I was having a look around the place, I noticed a secondhand bookshop in the corner and decided to check it out. Anyways, these are the titles I got this morning. Some pages from the book are below. And childre...

All The Wyld Things: Denim Jersey Burdastyle 131 Maternity Top
http://allthewyldthings.blogspot.com/2012/10/denim-jersey-burdastyle-131-maternity.html
All The Wyld Things. Thursday, October 18, 2012. Denim Jersey Burdastyle 131 Maternity Top. I loved how my red Burda maternity top. Turned out so much that I raided my stash and found something suitable to make another. I picked it up at Spotlight eons ago and meant to use it for the maternity panels in skirts. I did use up a tiny bit, but there was at least 1.4 metres of the stuff left. I'm not sure what it's made of, but it's a denim-look knit of medium weight. The pattern for this top is definitely a ...

All The Wyld Things: March 2013
http://allthewyldthings.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
All The Wyld Things. Tuesday, March 5, 2013. I had my baby and he's three months old today! I'm so in love with him. He is so good-he hardly ever cries except when he's really hungry or very tired. He sleeps like an angel and is no trouble at all. I must confess that I was anxious when I first became pregnant with him as my first two were so close, but he has made me so happy! I'm gushing but I am just so rapt with him! Please visit Wyld Chic Boutique. But I'll still update this blog occasionally. :).

Three Maternity Summer Tops | All The Wyld Things
https://allthewyldthings.wordpress.com/2011/01/31/three-maternity-summer-tops
The Wyld Woman Blog. All The Wyld Things. Three Maternity Summer Tops. It’s been a super hot week. It was 42 degrees Celsius today, about the same yesterday, but will go down to 33 degrees tomorrow. I’ve been itching to sew, and thought it would be a good time to make some summer tops to go over the burgeorning bump. I ran through some designs in my head, and remembered this Vogue Patterns Anna Sui. I like it with or without the belt. And it looks quite like the Vogue one I think. Because this one came s...

All The Wyld Things: January 2011

All The Wyld Things. Monday, January 17, 2011. Dining Room Makeover: Champagne Taste, Beer Budget. We first got the keys to our house about a month before we got married, which was almost 2 years ago. The walls and ceilings were looking a bit dingy, so we decided that a lick of paint was in order. We managed to paint the lounge, bedrooms and hallways in the month before the wedding, with some help from family and friends. Then last weekend, when Wyld Man was still on his last week of holidays, we. The f...

All The Wyld Things: July 2011
http://allthewyldthings.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
All The Wyld Things. Thursday, July 7, 2011. New Baby and Old Furs. So my last post was about maternity skirts. Well, I wore them everyday till I had my baby. They made the last month of pregnancy easier to bear because I could throw any top on and have a comfy, stylish skirt to go with it-one less headache for a very pregnant woman! Anyway, I had my baby on the 17th of June and we named him Edmund. My due date was actually the 16th, so the little one was almost spot on! But things are settling in. I...

All The Wyld Things. Thursday, May 26, 2011. Ponte Knit Maternity Skirt Part III. I finally have pictures of me wearing all the five maternity skirts I made over the last 3 weeks. I only have about 2-3 weeks to wear them, but all in all I'll have worn them every single day for probably 40 days. And I can always use them for the next baby or sell them. This is the charcoal skirt. I made this one first in super ponti, which I paid $24.50 a metre for (too much! Here is how the back looks like after. The ivo...
