Taking them for a ride. The musings of a Pagan Bus Driver. or, The Adventures of a Taffy in Toon Town. Sunday, January 11, 2009. On her back with her legs in the air. I was more embarrassed than she was. I helped her to her feet and said something like "I'll help you up the bank missus, but you'll have to handle your knickers yourself." She just stepped out of them and I got her back to the bus. To the cheers of the old folk and the amusement of everyone because I was the only one blushing. These are not...

It always was a good idea, having the time to write it is the thing. with all the writing I do these days, for eHow. Those are all shameless plugs by the way.) It seems I just can't get around to writing about what I do every day to keep bread on the table. Still, this blog is worth doing. Youths got out and shot...

Getting There and Back Again. Mostly, riding the bus.and other thoughts on alternatives to one person in a car. Monday, June 28, 2010. Bus Buskers and Food Vendors.Bus Fun in Mexico. Not only were there lots of buses within the city, but it was easy and cheap to travel by bus through the countryside, to outlying towns. We made three day trips by bus to Tequila, Teuchitlan and Chapala. We seemed to be the only American tourists on the buses there. Everyone seemed quite used to these vendors and buskers.

Getting There and Back Again. Mostly, riding the bus.and other thoughts on alternatives to one person in a car. Sunday, May 30, 2010. The Passenger by Art Brut. Be sure and check out the youtube video. There just aren't that many songs out there about public transportation! Http:/ www.youtube.com/watch? I'm a determined passenger. I never learnt to drive. But don't worry, I'm not asking for a ride. Some people hate the bus. Not me, I can't get enough. Some people live in the fast lane. I don't take a book.

Getting There and Back Again. Mostly, riding the bus.and other thoughts on alternatives to one person in a car. Wednesday, September 23, 2009. After days and days and days of rain, our fair city was experiencing sunshine! But nothing could turn our frowns upside down. We weren't particularly happy, but we weren't fired up either. We were quite a contrast from the unhappy lot that rode a #9 bus one day last week. I said, "maybe twenty minutes". Oh, but that's not his fault, he was quick to respond. I do f...

http://takingthemforaride.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Taking them for a ride. The musings of a Pagan Bus Driver. or, The Adventures of a Taffy in Toon Town. Friday, February 6, 2009. I went on to take a look. There were two large toolboxes lying near the back seat. There were no wires protruding and no unusual odor coming from it. That's cool but I got out and told the driver "I'm not opening it." I called the radio room and requested police support. In a few minutes a Deputy Sheriff. The dog's name is Amor. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
