A Quilt for Nana | The Bumbling Quilter
https://bumblingquilter.wordpress.com/2014/02/14/a-quilt-for-nana
Sharing my love of quilting, gardening and beekeeping. A Quilt for Nana. This small quilt was a long time coming for my mother in law. Years and years ago, I had bought fabric that matched her newly decorated basement and attempted a quilt that was far beyond my skill level at the time. Understandably, I got incredibly frustrated and set it aside. I love how this came out. While it is a small quilt, it fits her really well and it looks amazing in her not so newly decorated basement! Sharing my love of quilting, gardening and beekeeping. WIP Jacob’s Ladder. I managed to sneak in a bit of time a few days ago to sew the half square triangles and today, I finally managed to get them pressed and trimmed. I pulled a lot of aqua and teal from my stash to make these. I even cut into a few of my top ten favorite fabrics! I’d love to hear from you about which layout you like the best. I’m struggling to decide myself and would love some feedback from you guys! Sorry if you got this post twice!

It’s catching… | Boomtown Sisters
https://boomtownsisters.wordpress.com/2013/10/21/its-catching
It’s catching…. Asymp; 3 Comments. So, Megan has infected me. It’s horrible. The cravings. The lack of self control. The obsessive behavior. The withdrawals. Quilting. Were you aware it’s contagious? My sweet mother-in-law has been attempting to expose me to it for years. I thought I had built an immunity. I was oh so very wrong. It started slowly with working on a couple of quilts. With Megan. All I did was put together some blocks. Nothing too severe. Who knew that was a gateway? Larr; Previous post.

A little challenge | Cel-Ange Creative

Because creating is fun. March 30, 2015. I saw this wall hanging in the latest Quilters companion magazine and just had to enlarge it and change it up a bit to make it into a small quilt. I’m really pleased with how it is looking and I’m looking forward to finishing the embellishing. I spent 7 hrs doing the free motion quilting, then painted it with shimmery fabric paint now I’m in the process of sewing down the appliques pieces. View all posts by Cel-Ange creative ». PDX Purse | The Bumbling Quilter
https://bumblingquilter.wordpress.com/2014/01/11/pdx-purse
Sharing my love of quilting, gardening and beekeeping. I made a cute little pocket with the paper clip fabric that I am love with. The Tinker Tote class is totally worth the price just for the zipper pocket instructions. I have used it three times now and every time I use it, I am amazed at how easy it is. Next purse I make you will have better straps, I promise! I hope you all have a great day! This entry was posted in Quilting. And tagged Christmas gift. January 11, 2014. The cupcake it’s self had a decent crumb and texture, but there is way too much sugar! 2 cups sugar (really you should try 1 cup). 3/4 cup Mountain Dew. 1/4 cup of lemon and lime juice. Zests from 1 lemon and 1 lime. 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon extract ( maybe this is to give it that fake citrus flavor). 2 3/4 cups all purpose flour.

I told my Mom I would look into a recipe and let her know and since I didn’t have any plans today, I thought I would make a cobbler. 1/2 cup brown sugar. The biscuit I made is the same biscuits. As in the last post. Except I added a 1/4 cup of brown sugar and took out the cheese. I suggest eating it with a. September 16, 2013.
