Life On The Front…. My Rural Montana Life. One of my lifelong dreams has been to have a garden full of beautiful, lush vegetables. Our two years in Minnesota didn’t allow much room to explore this pleasure, but our current MT home nestled on 2 acres allows us plenty of land to plant a good size garden. In mid-April the lettuce and spinach seeds were sown followed by the warm weather starts on June 1. The kids and I flew to Florida and Arizona for 3 weeks, and by the time we arrived I had a full fledg...

Port Angeles Mom: April 2010
http://portangelesmom.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Loving life on the Olympic Peninsula! Thursday, April 29, 2010. Just a Normal Monday in April. A couple Mondays ago it was just one of those days. The husband had a rough day at work and I was tired and in no mood to cook. Mondays are $8 burger and brew nights at Downriggers, and it was a beautiful afternoon, so we decided to head down the hill for an early dinner with the princess. Downriggers is right on the water and has gorgeous views. Isn't my husband lucky that I don't like beer? Bekah on the Pier.

Port Angeles Mom: The Evening Routine
http://portangelesmom.blogspot.com/2011/05/evening-routine.html
Loving life on the Olympic Peninsula! Wednesday, May 18, 2011. Personal confession time: when I was a young newlywed, I was not a very good housekeeper. If you know me, you might think it doesn't make much sense, because I like things orderly and clean. I'm a nut. For organized closets, and nothing makes me more at peace than knowing my house is clean and organized, every nook and cranny. Someday, SOMEDAY, I will achieve my long-held goal of even having an organized basement. Oh, yes, it will be mine.

Port Angeles Mom: Week One: A Few Lessons Learned
http://portangelesmom.blogspot.com/2011/05/week-one-few-lessons-learned.html
Loving life on the Olympic Peninsula! Tuesday, May 10, 2011. Week One: A Few Lessons Learned. So, as I look back, I can say I've spent considerably more time researching health and fitness and how to change your mindset and tackle negative thing. than the actual doing. What I've learned is that I'm not so good at the doing part, especially. Why aren't there marching bands for grown ups? Or jungle gyms for grown ups? Maybe I need to get a trampoline. I digress. I discovered this week that I really, an...

It's like she's finally free to explore like she's always wanted to. These photos are from our playgroup at the hospital. She adores Jonah, the older boy in yellow and was following him around all afternoon. Local Things to Do. Ornament...

Loving life on the Olympic Peninsula! Saturday, December 5, 2009. Aunts, Uncles and Cousins, Oh My! OK, I'm taking the days out of order, here, but that's OK. Here are some shots of our visit with my brother-in-law Marc, his wife Janel, and their cutie-pie of a daughter, Ella, who is 18 months old. Not the best pictures, you say? Well, yes, that's because BOTH the husband and I forgot our real cameras at home in Boston and so we took all the pictures from this trip with our iPhones. B: "Are those my feet?
