making life a perpetual spree: Money
http://iamleggy.blogspot.com/2014/10/money.html
Making life a perpetual spree. Pausing only to take my leisure. Monday, October 13, 2014. I was pretty sure I had all the symptoms of thyroid problems, but my blood work looked fine so most doctors thought I was fine. Dr. Money was the first one who really. Listened to me and believed there was a problem. Post-surgery, my anxiety and depression is 100x better. It's obviously not gone, but I can function now :) Which wasn't possible for the months leading up to surgery. We've had a baby! Quote of the Week.

Making life a perpetual spree. Pausing only to take my leisure. Thursday, February 21, 2013. On the up and up.a truth-filled blog. I have been very sick. Since the beginning of the school year I have been sick- emotionally and physically. There were months when I was fighting tears the whole school day. I would come home and go to bed, no matter what time it was, no matter how hungry I was, no matter what kinds of plans I had made with my best friends (including my husband! It was a dark time. Cross with...

Making life a perpetual spree. Pausing only to take my leisure. Saturday, October 19, 2013. Since I don't have a lot of experience with little boys, I used to be scared at the prospect of raising them. After we found out we were expecting, though, I started thinking a lot about "what if it's a boy? Hoping our baby was a boy. I'm excited that all our other children will have a big brother to look up to! Posted randomly by Natalie. 1 opinion(s) on the matter. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Quote of the Week.

making life a perpetual spree: Trying to make sense of it all
http://iamleggy.blogspot.com/2014/05/trying-to-make-sense-of-it-all.html
Making life a perpetual spree. Pausing only to take my leisure. Tuesday, May 27, 2014. Trying to make sense of it all. I just had a baby. A lot of changes occur through pregnancy and then, post-partum. One of the changes that receives the most attention is the change to a new mother’s body. My body changed a lot! My stomach isn’t as flat as it used to be, and my hips AND rib cage have expanded to the point where none of my pants, skirts, or dresses fit anymore. Rib cage expanding? Why do I feel depressed...

making life a perpetual spree: March 2013
http://iamleggy.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Making life a perpetual spree. Pausing only to take my leisure. Thursday, March 07, 2013. I was so incredibly nervous going into surgery yesterday. A few times I almost backed out, but the Lord was mindful and sent me tender mercies to give me courage. I was lucky- they only had to remove the right lobe of my thyroid! There is a chance the left lobe will need to come out next week, but we're praying I'm all done. Tomorrow we'll meet with Dr. Money to check on things. I bought myself some new PJs and a co...

Making life a perpetual spree. Pausing only to take my leisure. Sunday, July 20, 2014. In his talk titled “The Tender Mercies of the Lord,” Elder Bednar says: “the Lord’s tender mercies are the very personal and individualized blessings, strength, protection, assurances, guidance, loving-kindnesses, consolation, support, and spiritual gifts which we receive from and because of and through the Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Nephi 1:20 ". I, Nephi, will show unto you that the tender. They saw we were having car trou...

making life a perpetual spree: June 2013
http://iamleggy.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Making life a perpetual spree. Pausing only to take my leisure. Friday, June 21, 2013. I can't believe I have been married to my amazing best friend for one year. Spencer is so selfless, patient, kind, and wonderful. I have learned so much from him this past year! Recently, something that has brought Spencer and I understanding and peace is Ether 6:5-7. And it came to pass that the Lord God caused that there should be a furious wind blow upon the face of the waters, toward the promised land. We've had so...

making life a perpetual spree: On Being Brave
http://iamleggy.blogspot.com/2014/10/on-being-brave.html
Making life a perpetual spree. Pausing only to take my leisure. Friday, October 24, 2014. Although my general anxiety has been getting better, I still have pretty intense social anxiety. There are 3 situations where I feel comfortable: school, with our families, and any situation where Spencer is standing beside me initiating conversation. Pretty sad. I even started these conversations without writing a script in my head first. This is so out of the ordinary for me. Definitely not normal (for me)! So to ...
