Thursday, July 21, 2011. Rex's battle with a poisonous spider bite - July-19-2011. It's now apparent that the wound his getting smaller. In all the years I have had dogs I have never experienced anything like this. It blows my mind that a tiny little spider can cause so much damage. I also have a black Great Dane and there is no way I could discover any colorization on him and catch this in an early stage, quite frightening. Links to this post. Where are we now? We have settled down in Oakley Utah to pursue a new business and to focus on my research into extending the life of large and giant breed dogs. I lost Rex in October. I have a new puppy, Odin. Odin will be the main focus of my project for the next 12 years. I have been feeding my dogs raw food for 12 years and gained a lot of knowledge and experience from doing this.I pretty much follow the pray model with a few modifications.
