February 21, 2012. My heart is broken. Had we failed him as parents? Was there some sort of concerning behavioral pattern starting to develop? Should I start looking for a child therapist? February 3, 2012. Miss Priss is 3 1/2, Bubba is almost 7. It's no secret I like my kiddies spread out a bit. I've never let other peoples' opinions sway me in this area of my life. For some, more is truly merrier. For others, like me, not so much. Do I ignore the stirrings inside of me and wait until we have a plan that we are comfortable with? Or do I go against everything I believe about being financially responsible and simply hope it works out? Anyone care to share their thoughts or experiences?

Ready for the day. Monday, April 8, 2013. This little girl is growing up so fast- too fast and she's not so little any more. We celebrated Presley's special day with family, a dessert of her choice, and a few fun presents. We loved the low-key event and Presley had fun going out to lunch with her grandma Lynn and celebrating with her friends at school (her birthday usually happens during Spring Break, this year the break came early and she was so excited to go to school on her birthday). Ready for the day. Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Halloween- trick or treat. The girls planned their own costumes this year . . . Presley was a pumpkin fairy and Stella was a kitty. Even Chris joined in the fun and put on a costume of his own making. I went to Presley's class today to help out with the Halloween party. We played games, ate gooey green goo, played BINGO, and dressed up as mummies (no costumes allowed at school). Stella tagged along for the fun and we had a good time. Stella is a happy mummy!

Well, poor Stella's face says it all . . . despite the loss, the team (and Chris) had a great season, full of wins, a new travel schedule, and a trip to the finals (not to mention a fabulous conference playoff game beating UCLA in a packed, noisy gym at home).
