If you aren’t convinced you should try it yet, you should know that the whole thing is done with time to spare in the time it takes to boil the water and cook the pasta. It takes the pizza guy longer than that to find my house. That makes it adhere better and coat the pasta more evenly. Which is that you should never, ever, EVER rinse pasta after cooking it!

In the morning, just pop it in the oven and bake it a little longer. It’s so easy! Serve it with butter and powdered sugar or maple syrup. If your bread is fresh and not stale(I certainly have trouble waiting that long to make this! Just slice it and bake it on a baking sheet at 350º for 10 minutes and it will readily soak up all of that delicious custard.

June 4, 2013 · 1:23 am. Classic Buerre Blanc Sauce with Rockfish. First of all, I feel like I’ve said this a hundred times, but I’m sorry for not writing for so long. I really enjoy sharing encouragement, ideas and recipes with all of you and it is my goal to do that on a regular basis in a more organized way. I’m working on it!
