Trial flight customers have been out in force, and students have progressed well. Even Willem got an hour in, after a very hectic month at work. And a rare treat for me. Sitting next to a recently qualified pilot and being able to photograph a landing on Felixkirk runway 15. As a Swiss ski instructor once said to me, 'Bend zee knees and mind zee trees'.

I really love this hot weather but please, please, can we have some rain soon, and some cool nights! We got bugs on the screen at 1000 ft today. They must have been thermalling. Today it got up to 27 degrees, so up amongst the clouds was definitely the best place to be. Up at 5000ft it was positively chilly. Here are a few of our customers who braved the heat. It started off very windy and pretty murky. The Moors were a no-go area due to low Cloud, so Paul Simpson from Lancs and I headed off to Wensleydale, where it was a bit brighter.
