It's a good winery for those who, like me, can't drink alcohol (genetics! I did run a parfumerie over ten years ago, so finding top notes and bottom notes is second nature to me. I'm looking forward to ...

http://napavalleyliving.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Everything you want to know about moving to and living in Napa Valley! Monday, October 19, 2009. We did discover one downtown park worth strolling - Fuller Park. It seemed to have a handful of sleeping hobos in it at midday on a weekday for some reason, so it may get dicey after dark (? Here is a shot of the picnic area:. Anyway, for shame, city of Napa! Surely you're making enough in tax revenue to designate and design some public park lands! Labels: cheeseburgers in paradise. Thursday, October 15, 2009.

The Scandalous and Daring Adventures of Rusty Childers: China Trip, Continued
http://rustychilders.blogspot.com/2009/06/china-trip-continued.html
The Scandalous and Daring Adventures of Rusty Childers. Sunday, June 07, 2009. China Trip, Continued. After Wenzhou, I went to Hangzhou and visited my friend Penny. I had a wonderful time, easily the best of my trip in China. Tai Shan is quite a climb: 11 kilometers of stairs straight up the mountain. I did it though! Then it was back to Beijing with Jorge and Jessie (and about half of Jessie's family, who got off on stops along the way) before catching a plane back to Portland. damn it was good to...

http://napavalleyliving.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Everything you want to know about moving to and living in Napa Valley! Monday, November 30, 2009. So, we had a lovely quiet Thanksgiving, with a duck breast and a bit of confit from The Fatted Calf, a delicata squash stuffed with cranberries, cornbread stuffing, grilled endive. We baked a pumpkin pie and husband G made ginger-flavored whipped cream for it. We'll have to think up some more things to put in that basket. Also, I did find a little park with a paved little walkway for our daily walks, called ...

The Scandalous and Daring Adventures of Rusty Childers. Tuesday, February 16, 2010. Goddard MFA in Writing. So it's done, my first residency as a graduate student. All I can say is wow. I knew what to expect; I knew how amazing it would be, and how crazy. But actually doing it, participating as a student is so much more powerful than working for it behind the scenes. MFA program and a completely different experience. Posted by Rusty Childers. So when did you move back? I agree with Michaela about the bro...

http://rustychilders.blogspot.com/2009/07/daegu.html
The Scandalous and Daring Adventures of Rusty Childers. Monday, July 13, 2009. Made it in last night. The flight itself wasn't too bad. Just long, and coupled with the lack of sleep from the night before, very tiring. Looks like I'm in a nice neighborhood. I arrived to a clean apartment with fresh milk, OJ, a bottle of water, and Korean frosted flakes waiting for me. All new pots, pans, and dishes. My old stuff I left in storage when I left Gwangju. And best of all, a nice bed. Posted by Rusty Childers.
