I wanted to share a paper I wrote about Charlotte Bronte's Villette. And Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. As novels which function as rejections of moral standards of 19th Century English novels. Was similarly attacked, and Charlotte Bronte was also accused by contemporaries of being a lonely "spinster" type and Villette.

An important question was raised. Is it wrong to enjoy pop culture and pop music since most pop music objectifies women How do we draw the line between appreciating pop culture and still uphold a feminist perspective? I also have to ask myself, how can I enjoy pop entertainment without being a hypocrite?
