Mia's Musings about Feng Shui, design, and life in general. Saturday, June 11, 2011. Sharing the Feng Shui Love. 2011 has been a crazy year so far. As if my Feng Shui consulting. Business has not kept me busy enough, I have also been working hard on establishing a Feng Shui Practitioner training. Program to share my love of feng shui with others looking to get started in this fascinating art. (Hence the lack of blogging activity). With my two partners, Janelle and Kelly, we have created what we intend to...

living feng shui: The Impermanent Beauty
http://whitelotusinteriors.blogspot.com/2012/07/impermanent-beauty.html
Mia's Musings about Feng Shui, design, and life in general. Sunday, July 8, 2012. The flowers in my garden, and particularly the tulips and peonies are a yearly reminder for me to take notice daily and to not take beauty for granted. Peonies are a popular symbol of love, femininity, wealth and honour in Chinese culture. They are often portrayed in Chinese paintings, hung in the home to symbolize good luck and strong relationship. living feng shui: Public art or Public Nuisance?
http://whitelotusinteriors.blogspot.com/2012/06/i-was-driving-in-calgary-today-in-rain.html
Mia's Musings about Feng Shui, design, and life in general. Wednesday, June 13, 2012. Public art or Public Nuisance? I was driving in Calgary today in the rain and noticed what I think was a city worker taking a photo of a bit of graffiti art on a concrete retaining wall. I presume that he wasn't stopped just to admire it but was likely documenting it so that crews would know where it was so that it could be removed. It got me thinking, as many things do. Personally, I vote for Charlie. The White Lotus L...

living feng shui: August 2010
http://whitelotusinteriors.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Mia's Musings about Feng Shui, design, and life in general. Saturday, August 28, 2010. Joyful, Bountiful Tui. Tui is expressed beautifully in this painting by Lester Ancheta. Tui, or Lake, is the trigram or symbol of the I Ching which expresses the energy of this time of the year. As we head into fall and the time of harvest, the efforts of the spring planting and summer heat begin to bear fruit. This is evidenced in the natural physical world as well as in our inner realities. Perhaps the most important...

living feng shui: April 2011
http://whitelotusinteriors.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Mia's Musings about Feng Shui, design, and life in general. Thursday, April 21, 2011. Wow, I can't believe I have not written anything on these pages for over 3 months. Clearly I can not call myself a serious blogger : ) The Mayan calendar time is becoming more condensed, making everything seems so much quicker and I, for one, certainly feel like it has just passed so quickly! I am almost embarrassed. Posted by Mia Staysko. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. The White Lotus Letter.
