She hoped Clay would come on his own on January 9, her Grandpa Emmitt's birthday. I hoped Clay would come on January 10 or January 11 so that he would be a "binary baby" (01/10/10 or 01/11/10). Just in the past few days he has gotten really good at sitting up on his own. Here is a picture. He's kind of proud if he does say so himself. And then there were three, make that four. Saturday, September 11, 2010. N - Vacation day 1 and 2. The tour was interesting and we enjoyed the break from being in the car. We drove the Texas Hill Country backroads from Dublin to the thriving metropolis of Luckenbach, Texas made famous by Waylon Jennings. This is probably my 2nd favorite Waylon Jennings song. Any guesses as to the first? The Dukes of Hazzard theme song of course! But I digress . . . Looks like great family fun (except for the bee stings)!

And then there were three, make that four. Friday, August 14, 2009. I can count on one hand the number of people I've stayed in touch with since middle or even high school. I know that's not saying much about me, especially with the invention of Facebook which I'm sure I'll end up joining to everyone's surprise one day. But, that's all beside the point. There is one friend who I know will never escape me. And, to top it all off, today is her birthday! Over the years we've had a few laughs. Joel loves dog...

Seriously, I'm standing right here! We enjoyed all the shows at Sea World but our favorite might have been the Azul show. Here is a picture of one of the dolphins from that show. Here is a picture of Joel checking things out at the Alamo. If you know Clay, you know he has a good time just about any time and any place.

Well, what better time to start up again, right? The kids had a blast with Halloween. Gage was a race car driver, a dragon, and Buzz Lightyear. Alex was a cowboy. The second time he wore his costume, he requested a mustache. Now that was funny. I cannot believe how grown up the boys are! Is she really 3?

Updates for our family and friends while we are away. Saturday, June 18, 2011. Ch ch ch changes. For those of you who haven't heard, we are moving to Memphis Tennessee July 3rd. Nate got a great job opportunity there so off we go. My last day of work was yesterday, I'll miss looking forward to going to work. They're all threatening to hide me in the cistern so I can stay! I've been truly blessed to have such an amazing group of people to work with the last few years and I'm going to miss them terribly!
