Meadmaking (honey wine) is an off shoot of normal winemaking. There are many differences in the time it takes and certain nutrient requirements. Mead making is normally a 6 month to 1 year process. Occasionally, it can be finished, cleared and bottled in 2 months, but that is more the exception than the norm. We stock the special yeasts and additives to help you make mead.
