Crochet A la Carte: April 2011
http://crochetalacarte.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Crochet A la Carte. Hello and welcome to my Crochet Blog! Friday, April 1, 2011. I've dyed some more yarn for my free form crochet felted purse. Here's the yarn soaking in water prior to dyeing. Spaghetti anyone? Here it is in orange, yellow and red for the coral. The rest is a brown/green mixture to be used as seaweed. I think this wants to be a coaster when it grows up:0). Crochet A la Carte
http://crochetalacarte.blogspot.com/2012/01/these-little-girls-flower-purses-were.html
Crochet A la Carte. Hello and welcome to my Crochet Blog! Friday, January 6, 2012. These little girl's Flower purses were my 4th order. The customer also requested 2 little girl's matching berets to go with them. They were for a 3 and 5 yr old. When the polar fleece liner is tucked into the purse, it not only keeps things from falling out, but I think it looks like a rose bud:0). The hat was lined as well so the wool wouldn't be scratchy. After all, Lady Bugs eat nasty aphids:0). When it was blocked:0).

When it is properly blocked it is nice and round and the petals stand out a bit. It is very cute. Unfortunately I forgot to take pics before mailing it to the customer:(. The final version had a bright pink polar fleece liner.

Crochet A la Carte: October 2009
http://crochetalacarte.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Crochet A la Carte. Hello and welcome to my Crochet Blog! Tuesday, October 6, 2009. The little white bowl from a couple of posts ago reminded me of a little fat cauldron. With Halloween coming up I decided to get creative and made myself a black cauldron purse, complete with toxic green witch's potion bubbling in it! The liner reminds me of a Kleenex. Maybe it could be made to hold a box of tissues? I really need to get a proper light and set up a nicer area to take my photos! Labels: a new adventure.

Crochet A la Carte: February 2010
http://crochetalacarte.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Crochet A la Carte. Hello and welcome to my Crochet Blog! Wednesday, February 24, 2010. Here's another yarn I found in my LYS. Regia sock yarn (approx. 420 m/100g ball. 70% wool, 25% polyamide, 5% acrylic). It's made by Coats. Don't the colors of this one just make you think of a gorgeous peacock with his tail feathers regally spread? I need to design something using a stitch that mimics the peacock's tail feathers. Hmmmmm. Labels: new yarn to try. Tuesday, February 23, 2010. My favorite new-to-me yarn.

I'm now listed on etsy as Crochet A la Carte ( crochetalacarte.etsy.com ). Here's the one I listed:. Now I'm busily working on finishing a Moroccan themed one to list.
