Snippets of my life in Singapore. Thursday, November 28, 2013. What's Inside A Phone? One of our land line phone went kaput. We called in the SingTel technician and he said that it was most probably 'fried' when there was a thunderstorm. So we gave our spoilt phone to Eugene to 'dissect'. He was curious what's inside and how it looks like. Gave him a screw driver. Oh, there's a magnet in the phone! He really dismantled it and took out everything! Links to this post. http://life-footsteps.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Snippets of my life in Singapore. Wednesday, December 25, 2013. The Night Before Christmas. I know, kids nowadays are smart and most probably know that Santa is not real. But I still want him to have that wonderment. We watched 'The Polar Express' and the kid was enchanted by the story especially the part where it said, only if you believe, will you hear the sleigh bells ring. 16 Dec was a documentary on Dinosaurs and the kid marked it so that he will not miss it. Ding, ding ding. The kid stirred . Mommy...

Ha ha ha ha ha. Kid got lego package for competing. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Translate My Blog (might not be exact).

Snippets of my life in Singapore. Monday, September 22, 2014. Mom's Birthday Dinner and Kid's First Karaoke. Celebrated my mom's birthday at the Senior Police Officers' Mess Club. Mom just had a cataract operation and thus the sunglasses. Delicious Chinese Halal food. The three adorable rascals. I had sung 'Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head' to Eugene before, but that was a long time ago. Don't think he can remember the song . But good effort for his first karaoke session, ha ha. LIFE-FOOTSTEPS: September 2014
http://life-footsteps.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Snippets of my life in Singapore. Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Tsukada Nojo @ Plaza Singapura. My opinion : the soup was delicious but the collagen chicken broth was very, very thick and too rich for my liking. After slurping a few mouthful, my friends and I were 'jerlak' already. http://life-footsteps.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Snippets of my life in Singapore. Sunday, July 27, 2014. RSAF @ Toa Payoh. The kid wanted to go up this tank. Aiyoh, queued for so long and it was so hot. Guess what is he doing? Shooting down the enemy! We have to get a q-number first and our number was so big that I told the kid to forget it lah as most probably wait a few hours. But a mommy gave me her q-number as she's going back home and her son won't be playing it. Yay, her q-number was definitely smaller than ours and soon we got our turn. Port of...

LIFE-FOOTSTEPS: Mid-Autumn Gathering @ Playground
http://life-footsteps.blogspot.com/2014/09/mid-autumn-gathering-playground.html
Snippets of my life in Singapore. Monday, September 08, 2014. Mid-Autumn Gathering @ Playground. Kids are always so fascinated by fire. Maybe forbidden fruit taste better 'cos us adults always tell the kids 'do not play with fire'. The kid took a stick and started burning it. There was another group of kids at the playground. When our sparklers ran out, they were kind enough to let our kids have a go at their sparklers too. All queuing up for the sparklers. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
