One day at a time. Sunday, April 1, 2012. SWEET EXAMPLE OF MINE :). Today I am enjoying listening to General Conference. I absolutely love hearing the guidance that our church leaders give to us! It continually gives me a million things to think about and work on in the next six months until we are blessed to do it all again. As I was sitting at the computer watching, Gavin came into the room and said, "Mom can you help me say a prayer that I can find my parts to my train? July 15, 2012 at 11:13 PM.

One day at a time. Thursday, October 27, 2011. Tin Foil Dinners for FHE! We hadn't done tin foil dinners for quite a while and so we decided to give it a try for FHE. Mike got home from work and I gave him the job of gathering everything from outside and I took care of the food and all the inside stuff. Once we had it all in, off we went! I love that our kids still enjoy doing things like this as a family. I hope it will last a bit longer! Hauling wood.{ kind of the easy way.}. While Dad is working.

One day at a time. Tuesday, November 15, 2011. Gavers found a new favorite spot in the truck on our way to the Corn Maze for scouts. We were parked at the bank though. I guess I should make that clear! The Corn Maze was really fun, but! If we wouldn't have had all of our boys we would have gotten lost more than just the 10 times that we did! The Pumpkin Patch is always a lot of fun! We always get some really great pumpkins to put on our front porch. These boys were pretty good helpers.

One day at a time. Thursday, January 19, 2012. Carter made me one proud mama last night! It made me feel like maybe Mike and I are doing at least some things right! So, here's how it went. Mike is in the Young Men's Presidency and all those lucky boys get to go to a hockey game in the valley on Saturday. Mike was able to get an extra ticket and wanted to take Carter for a little one on one time. He didn't know that Carter's piano recital was on the same day:( Bummer! Oh my word I love this boy!

We have had some major problems with computers AND cameras in the last few months but now they all seem to be resolved and so I have a TON of catching up to do for my blog. One day at a time. Thursday, December 8, 2011. A little late and a little lame:/. This year for Halloween I made the boys pick from costumes we already had at home. I'm not a super big fan of spending lots of money on something they will wear for just a few hours and probably stain. This was Gavins choice of wardrobe for the Fall Carnival. One day at a time. Tuesday, September 7, 2010. Tyler and Melinda were kind enough to invite us to go to Roosavelt with them for the day. Mike got this grand idea to get this old, old, old (you get the picture) boat from his dad that his dad traded for a car without a motor. (That tells you how much it was worth! Mike wanted to try it out on the water and see if it would work. It was a perfect opportunity for him because Tyler would be there to tow him in if he broke down. Thanks for the fun guys!

One day at a time. Tuesday, February 23, 2010. Sneak a peek into our Casa. Mike has become a fan of the Killers and so we dance and sing. A LOT! We've had a few problems with Carter's bike. One tire was just a total pain in the rear and kept going flat. Sooooo, I went to town and Mike got to work on a solution and when I got back, tada! Sunday nights are for this. And Holy Crap this too. Finally a haircut, and oh how handsome he is! He just wants to be like dad. I love it! His daddy is so proud!

After nearly two years of job hunting Stephen is employed! I knew when he found a job the timing, the circumstances, etc., would all make sense. He has such diverse skills he could do a number of things. But this job is a perfect fit! In October Abbie and I went to their new apartment in Walnut Creek, CA to help them move in. It was so much fun!
