Tuesday, 8 July 2014. Guided Reading in Year 4. This morning was similar to most other mornings. We had a guided reading lesson. Let's hear from some of our class mates. Mia said, "Guided Reading is a fun activity in the morning where we have different activities to do.". Kian said, "In Guided Reading, we learn about what different things mean and how to pronounce different words.". Thursday, 30 January 2014. Year 4 were archaeologists this week. We followed in the footsteps of Howard Carter and had a wonderful time digging for treasure! We had to guess what the item could be as we uncovered it bit by bit. We had to be so careful not to damage the item, so we used paintbrushes to gently brush the sand away from the artefacts.
