Christian Motherhood: August 2008
http://motherhoodchristian.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 27, 2008. My Cousin's Wedding in Omaha. We drove the last three hours on Saturday morning with plenty of time to check-in to our nice hotel and rest before changing for the wedding. It was held at the Embassy Suites in downtown Omaha and was very nice! They had a romantic carriage ride through the city after the ceremony and dinner was also wonderful. The dance was fun too, although you sure don't get much dancing in with your husband when you have two little ones! The Fam in front of E...

http://motherhoodchristian.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 28, 2008. Joining us at Rob's parents' house were his grandma Ethel and his Aunt Penny, Uncle Rick, and cousins, Scott and Katie. So fun to see Katie, who's 9, playing great all day with Ashleigh and Ethan! Friday, November 07, 2008. But understand this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For people will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,. Sounds a lot like America today, but the fact that t...

Wednesday, December 24, 2008. Look Grandma, I dressed myself! Rob playing the keyboard with Ethan watching. I have been so busy this time of year, I haven't been updating my website as often as I would like to! We also went to Rob's company Christmas party two weeks ago which was up in the mountains in Genesee with a beautiful view of the city. I also went to my good friend Karrie's annual Christmas brunch, two gift exchanges, and a cookie exchange (we're still working on those 9 dozen cookies! I also ju...

Tuesday, October 28, 2008. Ashleigh's Fourth Birthday Party. Ashleigh's friends Noah, Mackenzie, Savannah, (Ashleigh) and Brianna making party hats. The adults helping and watching the hat making. The kids having dinner. That's what I was waiting for! Rob's chocolate cake with chocolate glaze and lemon cake with lemon glaze. But Ethan's having fun from the looks of it. He's gotten so much better over the past month and barely falls at all now, but I hope you're as amused as I was watching this!

Christian Motherhood: Happy Easter 2009!
http://motherhoodchristian.blogspot.com/2009/04/happy-easter-2009.html
Saturday, April 18, 2009. For Tyler's first Easter, we attempted to go to an egg hunt in Parker, but were 15 minutes late and missed the whole egg hunt! We've had a lot of crazy snowy and rainy weather lately. It's been snowing non-stop for the last two days with a big storm that dumped 1 and 1/2 feet of snow! That easter bunny cracks me up! Sounds like we were sort of in the same boat missing the hunt. sorry we didn't see eachother in passing. tyler is looking so handsome! Sat Apr 18, 08:22:00 PM. Birth...

Made From Scratch {Gluten Free Carrot Cake} | Jeanne Oliver
http://jeanneoliverdesigns.com/blog/2011/02/23/made-from-scratch-gluten-free-carrot-cake
Musings of a creative life. Made From Scratch {Gluten Free Carrot Cake}. Like many Americans we have gone gluten free {at least two out of five}. The rest of the family has easily adjusted to our diet. I have been gluten free for the past 11 months. Hard to believe how quickly that time has gone. You can eat gluten free and still eat very unhealthy. My health journey has led me to find gluten alternatives that have the most health benefit as possible. I make these often as muffins without any frosting.

Saturday, June 28, 2008. Happy 1st Birthday, Ethan! We had a party last weekend for our little guy's first birthday. We had a sun-catcher craft for the older kids (and adults) to paint and also a Finding Nemo pinata from our neighbors next door. Enjoy the pictures and video of Ethan's first piece of cake! Growing UP | Ruminating...

May 28, 2013 at 3:55 am ( Uncategorized. I remember when I was young, really young, I had so many dreams and my faith felt so big. But lately as I have been living in the middle of adulthood, I admit that often I am more confused than feeling the bigness of my faith. Playing the adult doesn’t make sense to me and how to live it out in the midst of so many confusing situations in life. I feel ill prepared often as I seek to faithfully guide my 4 children along with my husband. And then this song came on.
