Diary of a Fibre Fanatic. Spin, knit, sew…. repeat as needed. February 6, 2012. Seek and ye shall find. My current knitting endevour? A Whorl of Spindles | Diary of a Fibre Fanatic
https://fibrefanatic.wordpress.com/2012/02/16/a-whorl-of-spindles
Diary of a Fibre Fanatic. Spin, knit, sew…. repeat as needed. February 16, 2012. A Whorl of Spindles. I’m not sure what the correct collective noun for spindles is. A twist perhaps? Given that they have a tendancy to breed like bunnies, they really should have their own term, not a ‘bunch’, as hubby dearest so cleverly suggested. Maybe a whorl of spindles…. My collection so far (7 months after starting). Clockwise starting from the little blue guy, we have:. 8211; A tiny Turkish. 8211; A Greensleeves.
