Fibromyalgia-whats up

Fibromyalgia is a mystery .. no one really knows yet what causes it. There are many opinion's from studies. Right now the feeling is a "glitch" in the central nervous system causing the brain to perceive pain differently than "normal" people perceive. I've lived with it for over 35 years. I had to quit working and go on disability (cause Fibromyalgia and arthritis). I've helped lead a local Fibromyalgia Support group for the last 16 years.

Fibromyalgia-whats up: Waiting for the Lilacs to Bloom

http://fibromyalgia-whatsup.blogspot.com/2010/03/waiting-for-lilacs-to-bloom.html

Wednesday, March 31, 2010. Waiting for the Lilacs to Bloom. Just reflecting how lucky I am to live in a 4 season area. I love God's colors that show in the Spring. How have you been talking to yourself lately? Are you being nice to yourself or saying negative things? Well, it's time to change your thoughts and words to yourself. I'm doing a program on this subject at my face to face support meeting next week. For the past few weeks I've been more aware of what I am saying to myself. Maybe I'm just lazy.

Fibromyalgia-whats up

http://fibromyalgia-whatsup.blogspot.com/2013/04/is-carol-still-around-she-still-have.html

Wednesday, April 3, 2013. Is Carol still around? Does she still have Fibro? Where has she been? Yes, I'm still here. Just a few months and I'll have my 74th birthday so I've been around a long time. Do I still have Fibro? Wish I could say "no" but I'd be fibbing. Where has she been? Hope" what is it? I plan to get back into eating healthy foods and let the sugars, starches, etc stay out of my vision. I know they create more pain and that is something I can control. Hope" is remembering that one of the th...

Fibromyalgia-whats up: January 2010

http://fibromyalgia-whatsup.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html

Wednesday, January 27, 2010. I don't know about you but I'm ready for Spring and signs of spring are popping out all over. Like most of you, we had a crazy winter this year. We are either getting a false spring or the worst is over. I've been doing too much sitting, too much wrong eating and not doing right for my body. And, I am paying heavily for it. If it is to be, it's up to me. What are you doing for yourself this year? Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Nana's Bits and Pieces.

Fibromyalgia-whats up: Even a weed can be a perfect flower....

http://fibromyalgia-whatsup.blogspot.com/2010/05/even-weed-can-be-perfect-flower.html

Wednesday, May 12, 2010. Even a weed can be a perfect flower. Let's work together to do things that make us still feel like achievers. new hobbies and goals, new friends. We might not be able to be that "A" type of person we once were but we can brighten our own world and the world of others in simpler ways. Do you know a mother who is exhausted with the duties of motherhood? Baking some cookies and taking them to a neighbor who has had a rough time can be an upper for both of you. Have a wonderful day.

Nana's Bits and Pieces: 2009-03-08

http://nanasbitsandpieces.blogspot.com/2009_03_08_archive.html

Nana's Bits and Pieces. A little of this, a little of that. Saturday, March 14, 2009. I have ordered a new digital camera. It'll be here next week. Then I can show you pictures that I've taken as I get into the habit of daily walks with Spring on the way. When I started my blog I showed you pictures my sister had taken. Sister's like to compete, grinning, so we will see what I will be able to come up with. So I leave you now with a yummy recipe to try. Pork Chops and Dressing. 6 lean, boneless pork chops.

Nana's Bits and Pieces. A little of this, a little of that. Thursday, April 9, 2009. I wish you all a Happy Easter. How many times do we "not really see" the whole situation in life and go by what the first glace tells us? During this Easter Season and on, I'm going RE=THINK the first glances realizing there is always more than what meets the eyes. Happy Easter to you, whether it is the belief of bunnies and eggs and chicks or the celebration of our Risen Lord. Sunday, April 5, 2009.

Nana's Bits and Pieces. A little of this, a little of that. Tuesday, October 6, 2009. Where did Summer Go? The nights are cold, the mornings have fog, the trees are changing their colors, the leaves are starting to come down. FALL has arrived, where did summer go? We had a wonderful summer in the Pacific NW. Lots of Sunshine Days. We are so very blessed to have our definite 4 seasons, the most colorful Spring and Fall. Those are my favorites. How was your summer? October 7, 2009 at 8:30 PM. I miss my mom!

http://nanasbitsandpieces.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html

Nana's Bits and Pieces. A little of this, a little of that. Saturday, March 7, 2009. Southwest Washington is expecting snow again. This time the signs of spring will show through the snow and we know it won't last long. Actually about 24-36 hours. My daffodils are getting close to blooming and green is beginning to show on the lilac's and wild bushes in amongst the trees. Yeah, Spring is coming, Spring is coming. Yipee! Sunday, March 1, 2009. So now you know why Stella Lutheran Chapel means so much to me...

Here was this beautiful Flicker (woodpecker family) eating at the suet hanging outside the window. I had to take the picture through the blinds but still got a great picture of him. Aren't those polka dots something? Double click on the picture and you will get a close up of him. Sunday, April 19, 2009. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). SW WA state, United States. Nana's Bits and Pieces. A little of this, a little of that. Saturday, March 28, 2009. My gift from my sister. As I shared the other day, I bought a new camera and am learning to take good pictures. My sister is very involved in creating "pages" with her pictures. She's been after me to send her the one's I've taken so she could see them. I never dreamed she would put them together and send me this picture. I just had to share with you. Happy Spring. Thursday, March 26, 2009. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Nana's Bits and Pieces. A little of this, a little of that. Sunday, April 19, 2009. Last night I sat outside as the sun was going down. A combination of a choir and bird orchestra was going on. The birds were chirping, some were singing their goodnight songs, others were peeping. In the distance a frogs voice sang out. Oh how I love Spring. April 19, 2009 at 10:16 PM. Mr Tree has a lovely face, Nana! April 20, 2009 at 6:40 AM. What an adorable and friendly looking mr. tree! In His service, Anne.

Nana's Bits and Pieces. A little of this, a little of that. Saturday, October 24, 2009. Fall is such a Beautiful Season. I've so enjoyed the changes from summer to fall. The leaves of all colors jump out at you where ever you go in SW Washington State. Some flowers are still blooming in my yard. gerianiums, inpatients and a few nasturtiums and a few struggling rose buds. All will be gone with the first heavy frost so I am enjoying them as I can. If it is to be, it's all up to me. Patti Senter aka NW Lady.
