Winter Will Be the Death of Me Yet. We had “snow flurries” yesterday. Floridians call that “a near blizzard” and I am sure there are some enterprising souls who will be expecting their employer to declare a “snow day” today. But they won’t. They will expect everyone to scrounge around in the back of their closets, find something that will serve as a winter coat, bundle up and come on in to work. Scottish Fiddle and Accordion Society. Making fiddle and accordion music in Cambridgeshire for over 35 years. The society welcomes fiddle and accordion players who enjoy playing Scottish traditional music in a group setting. Our group welcomes players who are at any stage of performance: beginner, intermediate, or experienced. An ability to read music is an advantage, but we also encourage playing by ear. The membership fee for each of the three terms per year is 10.00. This covers the cost of room hire.
