十五夜とは ～お月見、団子、うさぎのお餅つき
旧暦では8月が秋 7 8 9月 のちょうど真ん中にあたるため、十五夜のことを 中秋の名月 とも呼び、親しんできました。 十五夜の月を愛でる風習は中国から伝わったとされ、日本でも奈良 平安時代には和歌の題材に盛んに用いられ、宮中では 月見の宴 が華やかに催されました。 8月15日 十五夜の月見 のほか、1月15日の 小正月 、2月15日の 祈年祭 、3月15日の 梅若ごと 、4月15日ごろに行われる神社の春の例大祭、6月15日ごろの 祇園会 、7月15日の お盆 、11月15日の 霜月祭 など、満月の日に開催される伝統行事や祭りがたくさんあります。 また、江戸時代の俳人である松尾芭蕉は 名月や池をめぐりて夜もすがら 名月はふたつ過ぎても瀬戸の月 など、 月にまつわる名句を数多く残しています。 縁側やベランダ、窓辺など美しい月を眺められる場所に月見台を置き、三方 さんぽう に 月見団子や里芋、果物などのお供え物を飾って. 十五夜は里芋などを供えることが多いため 芋名月 と呼ばれるのに対し、十三夜は 栗名月 豆名月 と呼ばれています。
