Saturday, March 6, 2010. To Tell the Truth. Rather than lie, I told him that work was slow. I omitted the reason for the slow down was due to a situation resembling an ongoing remake of a Pedro Almodovar film, with many of my workmates becoming "women on the verge of nervous breakdowns." Fiftysomething Musings: What's the Difference?

http://fiftysomethingmusings.blogspot.com/2010/02/whats-difference.html

Saturday, February 20, 2010. I like the way this conversation is going; you'll definitely be hearing from me, my future boss said to me at the end of our initial interview, four months ago. Our meeting was ending after an hour, a very good sign. That meeting had been preceded with a one-hour meeting with my future colleagues, which had also gone very well. After you leave the old bad job, you can't help but be a little excited about the promise of a new opportunity. Don't we all like a new beginning?

Fiftysomething Musings: The Red Flag Isn't Waving You In

http://fiftysomethingmusings.blogspot.com/2010/02/red-flag-isnt-waving-you-in.html

Friday, February 5, 2010. The Red Flag Isn't Waving You In. I'm not sure, exactly, but I believe that everything is a sign for something. Because he appeared to be intelligent, interesting, spiritual (doesn't that sound nicer than religious? How many ways can you spell gay? He's one of the superstars in my "hall of shame.". One has to make compromises in the very best of them. That's all true of course, but compromise is one thing, demons are another dimension and dare I say, not a good one. The Red Flag...

Up in My Head: December 2014

http://jeesau.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html

Up in My Head. One of those blogs that get sporadically updated, or gets forgotten about, and whose author is not willing to take down just yet. Enjoy! Wednesday, December 24, 2014. This year is not winding up as I expected. Instead of ranting and complaining, let's hear it for the little things. I noticed and appreciated these, in particular, today:. A tiny chihuahua in a red sweater named Lola who greets customers in her owner's shop. People holding doors open for each other. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Up in My Head. One of those blogs that get sporadically updated, or gets forgotten about, and whose author is not willing to take down just yet. Enjoy! Monday, August 24, 2015. Maybe I missed my calling. I should have been a library detective, back when they had those. I want to google that, to see if we still do. Have library detectives, but I won't. I'll leave a possibly erroneous statement in my blog. Imperfection: I'm trying to live with it. Was reading and needed another one. (Must have one on d...

Up in My Head. One of those blogs that get sporadically updated, or gets forgotten about, and whose author is not willing to take down just yet. Enjoy! Wednesday, December 21, 2016. What would any decent blog be without a year-end wrap up? A tedious list of the things that happened to me this year, the good and the bad? Well, this is not a decent blog, so we can dispense with that nonsense. How about a list of hopes and dreams for 2017. Nah. Keep walkin'. This ain't that either. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

You can actually enjoy Sunday, even watch 60 Minutes. Without hearing the ticking stopwatch as a harbinger of workweek doom, filing your with the dread and terror Dorothy felt as she watched the hourglass countdown her life. When did this start? Up in My Head. One of those blogs that get sporadically updated, or gets forgotten about, and whose author is not willing to take down just yet. Enjoy! Wednesday, January 20, 2016. I have no excuse for my lack of posts. I'd say "I've been busy" (like everyone else is not. But that's only partly true. I could have used the hours I binge-watched Netflix over the holidays to write here. I could have made a point of doing it, but I didn't. Moving on. Like my riveting piece about pigeons. I can live with that.

Up in My Head. One of those blogs that get sporadically updated, or gets forgotten about, and whose author is not willing to take down just yet. Enjoy! Monday, January 16, 2012. Open Letter to Pigeons of San Francisco:. Just when I thought I could get used to the sight of your mangled toes and peg legs, I've started noticing more and more of you limping. A bobbing, greyish bird surveying the sidewalks for questionably culinary treasures is a typical urban visage, but a bird with an off-kilter gait?

Random Tales Of Pain, Health Problems And Potential Future Happiness. The 40’s-Lots Of Tests And Different Doctors. So, throughout my 40’s I have lots of testing, more in my early 40’s related to how they thought I have fibromyalgia as that seemed to cover lots of the symptoms I have including the muscle and nerve pain, bad sleeping, bowel issues and many more. The first inclination for any consumer visiting this site, after considering the home page request to make suggestions to our new president about how to Help Refresh America (I think I can guess at least one), is to find out what it is that makes Pepsi so tasty.
