In The Knit Of TIME: My dear love
http://intheknitoftime.blogspot.com/2006/11/my-dear-love.html
In The Knit Of TIME. A knitting time capsule - where cheap yarn is desegregated and acrylic still finds a voice - now and then! Saturday, November 11, 2006. I knew you even before I met you. I heard of you and knew that you were the one for me. I was ready to pay the price to make you mine. I did everything in my power and then I waited. I waited and waited hoping that you would come to me. Everyday I wakeup hoping that this would be the day that I would finally get to see you. Why do you tarry my love?

rabid knitter: September 2006
http://rabidknitter.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
Adventures of a crazy knitting fiend. Thursday, September 28, 2006. Somewhat oversized baby things. This hat is for my friends' baby who's due at the end of October. It's the Umbilical Cord Hat from Stitch 'n' Bitch. I substitituted the yarn and, since my gauge was slightly different, started with 72 stitches instead of 64 and added an extra decrease row. It was a very quick, easy knit - just what I needed! Sept 23, 2006. Sept 23, 2006. Umbilical Cord Hat from Stitch 'n' Bitch. US 8 circ (Addi Turbos).

rabid knitter: April 2006
http://rabidknitter.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html
Adventures of a crazy knitting fiend. Friday, April 28, 2006. I've almost completed the 8th pattern repeat on Kiri. It's approx. 42 inches by 21 inches. I'm in the middle of the second ball of yarn, which means I'm probably about halfway done with the shawl, perhaps even a little more than halfway. I'll want the shawl to measure at least 60 inches in width (my armspan). Still got a ways to go! And now, back to knitting! Posted by cdc at 9:15 PM. Links to this post. Tuesday, April 18, 2006. So far, so good.

Friday, June 26, 2009. Just a little end of the week tornado. This was what we saw at 5pm from the windows at work as a storm passed through our city. It was on the water for a solid 20 minutes and traveled from one side of the river to the other. It never touched down on land (thankfully) but was an amazing thing to watch. Sunday, June 21, 2009.
