Fig and Plum | Cooking and Lifestyle Journal from the Dalmatian Coastline
Cooking and Lifestyle Journal from the Dalmatian Coastline. December 14, 2011 by kristinp3. When we were in Hollywood this weekend, we ate at a fancy restaurant before watching “Wicked.” The rest of my meal was so-so, but I had a kale salad that was divine! The best part – we each got a huge helping of a staggeringly healthy raw superfood! 3-4 TBSP Olive Oil. Scant 1/4 cup white wine vinegar. Juice of 1/2 of a lemon. 2 tbsp sugar or honey. 1/2 of a shallot, thinly sliced, or a thinly sliced yellow onion.

Monday, June 27, 2011. A Boy Baby Shower. This weekend I threw a baby shower for my adorable new nephew Jamin Matthew. I was inspired by this paper:. I have it in some frames in my living room. It's so fun and whimsical. I went to the fabric store and bought 4 inches (10cm) of a bunch of fun coordinating fabrics. The paper inspired this piece of art. I'll be hanging this in my newly painted guest bathroom. This painting {and frame} was hideous when I bought it at a thrift store a few years ago. For a bab...

Fig & Ruby Sweets
Fig and Ruby Sweets. Sunday, March 6, 2011. My daughter had a purple party. She really wanted a cute dolly girl for the top of the cake so I decided to keep the outside of the cake simple. She was so fun to make and I love how she turned out! I used beads to make her hair. The big surprise was the inside of the cake. You can make this cake too. In any color you like. Without too much headache. I added a bit less color to the next and a bit less as I went. The night before the party, I mixed about 1/2 cup...
