I like figs, i can be a nut, and i am a mum. Thursday, December 29, 2011. Thankful Thursday- Christmas, our way. This week I am thankful for the way we do Christmas. Leading up to the end of the year things were horrid. Meltdowns were on a huge high, I felt like we were getting pulled in every direction. Daily I was having to split up the kids from a fight. I am thankful that I have one embryo on board (blood test next thurs). I am just so thankful that needles are not a part of my daily routine for life. I like figs, i can be a nut, and i am a mum. Wednesday, November 30, 2011. An awesome game review. Christmas isn't too far away. And like most years I am not ready for it. But the kind people at Mattel. Emailed me a list of some of their top boys and girls toys. Then they offered me to review something from the list. Fair to say I squealed with delight at the thought of picking something from the list. It was a hard pick. I wanted something that we would all enjoy. And I found it. It is called Blokus.

Do my kids (mainly Mr Magoo) get enough down time. Time to do something, be creative where there is no pressure. Mr Magoo lives in a world of anxiety. And he puts a lot of pressure on himself to get it right. So much pressure that his fear of failure is out of control. Which in turn leads him to be afraid to try. Like me on fb.

A stay at home Mum's outlet, a few times a week. Friday, 29 June 2012. 3 Minute Chocolate cake. 90g margarine or soft butter. 1 cup self raising flour. Preheat oven to 180 deg C. Beat the margarine and cocoa to a paste. Add eggs, then flour,sugar and milk all together. Beat for 3 minutes. Spoon into a greased ring tin or 7" x 11" pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes. A stay at home Mum's outlet, a few times a week. Friday, 14 March 2014. I really am terribly sorry. I had hoped to blog for than a milli second on a regular basis. Such a LOT has happened in the past (almost) 2 years, and yet, nothing has really changed. I have wanted to start blogging again sooooo many times, yet it never happens. So, what DOES make me feel good? I feel good when my kids are all playing together and getting along. (It doesn't happen often, but it does happen.). My husband is AWESOME!
