Mostly Transformers Redux: A Quick Update: G1 Tracks and Kup
http://mostlytransformersredux.blogspot.com/2014/09/a-quck-update-g1-tracks-and-kup.html
Friday, September 5, 2014. A Quick Update: G1 Tracks and Kup. I'm considering doing mini updates every time I finish off a figure for my new display, so this is in some ways a test. Here are two I've just finished, enjoy the beauty of the "catalog"shots:. I also did a new background test, but I fear trying to do this for every picture may take up too much time. I think it turned out pretty though! That's two more down, only about 320 to go! A Preview of Things to Come. September 6, 2014 at 11:24 PM.

Mostly Transformers Redux: A Very Special Gift (Part II)
http://mostlytransformersredux.blogspot.com/2014/07/a-very-special-gift-part-ii.html
Sunday, July 6, 2014. A Very Special Gift (Part II). As I mentioned before. As a result of organizing and running Charticon last year I received a number of very unexpected gifts from friends all over the world. Each of these was unique in its own way and I wanted to showcase them here because they are all so cool. Gift number two was a special surprise due to the fact that I had no idea it was being produced and was shocked when it arrived. Jason, one of the fine fellows over at Get Right Robot. At any ...

Mostly Transformers Redux: December 2014
http://mostlytransformersredux.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 30, 2014. Generation One Dutch Poster Catalog. I picked up this very interesting piece of paperwork a few months ago, I thought it was a beautiful representation of the 86 and 87 figures. When folded up it is 6 x 9, which is still pretty large for a catalog. Unfolded it is 18 x 24, quite large indeed. Though there are some oddities of note on here that I found interesting. Mostly Transformers Redux: A Very Special Gift
http://mostlytransformersredux.blogspot.com/2014/06/a-very-special-gift.html
Tuesday, June 10, 2014. A Very Special Gift. Charticon provided me with many opportunities. It gave me the chance to meet people I had only known online prior, it allowed me to experience running a convention from the "other side" as it were, and it provided me with invaluable insight to the community as a whole. One very unexpected result of the show was that I was given some wonderful gifts for helping some people out. This is the first of these. Both the wife's and mine). June 10, 2014 at 7:18 PM.

Mostly Transformers Redux: Transformers: Age of Extinction (yes, I'm going there)
http://mostlytransformersredux.blogspot.com/2014/06/transformers-age-of-extinction-yes-im.html
Monday, June 30, 2014. Transformers: Age of Extinction (yes, I'm going there). Originally I had absolutely no inclination to write anything about the new Transformers movie that came out this past weekend. HOWEVER, upon seeing it I just don't think I can contain myself. This isn't a review by any stretch of the imagination, like pretty much everything else on this blog, this is just an very opinionated dialogue. Warning, heavy spoilers below. Proceed at your own risk. Opening action scene with creators d...

Mostly Transformers Redux: Japanese Exclusives
http://mostlytransformersredux.blogspot.com/p/japanese-exclusives.html
In Japan the Generation One toyline (figures that were released between 1985 and 1992) was split up into different sub groups and was only retroactively referred to as G1. Here I present my collection and checklist of Transformers from this time period in (roughly) chronological order. Super Robot Lifeform Transformers (1985-1986). This is a wonderful variant that starts off the long tradition of cool Japanese exclusive Transformers. Read more about it here. C-108 Artfire Not yet obtained. These were pur...

Mostly Transformers Redux: Why "Redux"?
http://mostlytransformersredux.blogspot.com/p/why-redux.html
If you are coming to this blog for the first time you may be asking yourself: "Why is it Mostly Transformers Redux. Instead of just Mostly Transformers? Since Blogger never removes blogs you can still find the original here. I have since removed all the formatting and re-directed any traffic to the new site through links. And hopefully I'll never have to do that. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A Transformers Blog - Angry Canadian Decepticon. Transformers Bio Card Database. TFSource Blog by Maz. Lots of Auto...

1990 Autobot Action Masters. 1990 Decepticon Action Masters. All the toys I have from the G1.5 transition period. I also wanted to showcase my paperwork collection as best I could, even though these are normally stored in three-ring binders I thought I would try to get a few photographs anyway. More Autobot Instruction Booklets. And a few more. A sample of my mounted tech specs. And the ones I have yet to put in the books. Omega is the odd ball out due to missing robot points on the box. Curses! The Pugs...
