We went to my weekly check-up on Wednesday the 8th of February, which was three days before my due date, and my Ob-Gyn said that I wasn't dilated and therefore, not going to be giving birth for another week! He said that the earliest he would induce me would be the 18th. I was devastated to hear that because my mum's leaving on the 17th and I wanted for her to see her first grandchild. Just a little update. My mind is completely blank I can't think of the English word and I can't google translate or I'll forget what I want to write) and in Ryder's room. Long story short, it turned out that the condo on the top floor had a leak as well. The owner and property manager are on top of everything. Things are fixed and replaced. We are happy. Our baby boy is ONE! In just 365 days, Ryderman went from this. 7 pounds and 11 ounces, 20 inches. 20 pounds and 3.5 ounces, 31 inches. How quickly he's grown! After his first 6 months. When he started crawling, things got crazy. We moved to a new condo and Ryder just started getting more and more active, it was so hard to keep up. Happy Christmas and 2013! Our first Christmas together as a family of three was spent in below zero degrees Celsius Norway with my family. Not being able to take too long of a time off work, Ryan was only over there for two weeks, a good two weeks nonetheless; while Ryder and I spent a whole month! It was fun and exciting to be back home after not being in Norway since summer of 2010. Some things have changed, but almost everything else was still old and familiar - in a good way! Waiting for the buffet.

A very happy thanksgiving day indeed. I had Ryan for five full days straight because it's Thanksgiving! 4 I'm grateful and glad to be complete. To have both my arms and legs, a functioning brain and heart, a set of eyes and ears, a nose, and lips. I'm grateful I can laugh, and cry, and hear, smell, and feel. Laughing at something ridiculous and crying at something serious, hearing kind words, smelling good food, feeling my loved ones. He was so fascinated by all the commotion going on in the kitchen.

Ryder's 7 to 11 months. 7 months: favorite toys - Trash, basically. Ryder loves trash. It's nice 'cause it's free and we don't have to spend $ $ on it. I can't believe Ryder's 6 months already. He's growing too fast. His milestones seem to occur at a lightning pace, I can hardly keep up!
