This includes the scheduling dispatch personnel into training and payment of approved training. In addition, this department maintains training records for all dispatch personnel in the Will County 9-1-1 System to insure compliance with the Minimum Training Standard and EMD licensure. Will County 9-1-1 public education:. Provides 9-1-1 public education materials to the 9-1-1 centers, police and fire departments throughout Will County. Educational materials are designed, developed and distributed to the general public through this program. Throughout the year, these items are researched, evaluated and ordered based on the need for yearly educational efforts. Assists in developing, coordinating, and scheduling programs on the appropriate use of the 9-1-1 emergency telephone number.

Motorola Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) applications help public safety agency 9-1-1 caller takers and dispatchers share information, reduce response times and improve situational awareness.
