Ceramics is a medium that allows me to explore the idea of time and containment. These ideas sometimes take shape through symbolic forms exploiting the material of clay in its pre-fired and fired states. Mid-fire Clay, Rope, Metal Fasteners and Underglaze. This project was part of my undergraduate exhibition. The art work was handbuilt. with the bottom unglazed work including slip cast forms. Mid-fire Paper Clay, Clay, and Slip.
