Sunday, June 20, 2010. What was meant to be a day in Yosemite turned into a quading day out at the BLM. Javan came over and spent the first part of the day with us and then in the afternoon we headed up the road with 7 out of 9 kids, a bag of tootsie pops, and three quads in tow. (Michaela and Alex spent his first Father's Day together at home). Jeremiah knew exactly what we were doing. As soon as we unloaded the four wheelers he was scrambling to get on! Maris found a shady spot to rest between turns.

Tuesday, July 13, 2010. Emily and I head out to climb Glacier Point in Yosemite. We leave 26 minutes late due to Emily and then after entering the park spend an hour and half driving in the wrong direction due to my lousy sense of direction, poor map reading skills, and inability and unwillingness to recall my husbands vague verbal directions and Emily's advice! No matter, we finally arrive at the trail head and are eager to start! Emily has an ipod to help pass the time, I have only the voices in my head.

Javan had the great idea that we should ride the quads and shoot guns yesterday. He brought his friend, Sarah, and 1/2 of the Yeoman family joined us too. Jeremiah had his first ride with Moriah! Monday, January 24, 2011. Where Have We Been? Sunday nights are family game night. Recently we have been having Wii tournaments with Maris ruling in bowling and Mark dominating the archery field! Monday, May 31, 2010. Violet comes to Papa and Mimi's! Violet's first visit up the hill! She pretty much slept and ate (and quit crying only when I held her! But the kids all played a wild game of Nertz! Emily is still the undefeated champion! Jeremiah has mixed feelings about Violet.
