Filling up the Cup: February 2013
http://www.fillingupthecup.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Filling up the Cup. Monday, February 18, 2013. Ryan was reading Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. To Finley last night. I was called in the room to hear this conversation:. Ryan: Which one is Dash? Ryan: Which one is Blazer? Ryan: Which one is Daddy? Ryan: Which one is Finley? Ryan: And which one is Mommy? Be still my heart. But really . . . she's pretty spot on with the other names too. She's a perceptive little one . Perceptive and sweet all rolled into one. With a dash of grumpy on the side.
Filling up the Cup: May 2012
http://www.fillingupthecup.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Filling up the Cup. Tuesday, May 15, 2012. Bright green and cheerful. Waving outside my bedroom window. And nod my head in greeting. It is eight o'clock in the morning. And I have crawled back into bed. Because my sweet six-year old has made me breakfast in bed. So that, as the card read, "You will not be busy making breakfast. You will be relaxing and eating breakfast in bed.". Today, on our heat soaked walk around the neighborhood, he told me the tea bag he picked was to help me relax. Mommy of three &...
Filling up the Cup: Living Water
http://www.fillingupthecup.blogspot.com/2013/12/living-water.html
Filling up the Cup. Friday, December 6, 2013. A poem in response to Logion 74 from the Gospel of Thomas. The fountain I've been standing in front of is empty. Always has been…. I grieve the water of this life I thought I knew. The water that never was. I stumble backward…. afraid … is everything not as it was? Into the deep well of Spirit and Life and Breath and Love. Right here. Inside me. Come, Lord Jesus. Many have gathered around the fountain,. But there is nothing in the well.
Filling up the Cup: November 2012
http://www.fillingupthecup.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Filling up the Cup. Tuesday, November 20, 2012. Thank you, Thank you, Jesus. Besides singing a psalm tomorrow night (read about that below . . .). I'm also doing the children's sermon,. Which I have turned into a children's Thanksgiving song. It's one of my preschool chapel specialties - a favorite, for sure! I ask all the children to tell me something they're thankful for. I write the list down on a piece of paper. And then I make up verses to this song:. Sing along with me! Thank you, thank you, Jesus.
Filling up the Cup: The Chairs of Chaos
http://www.fillingupthecup.blogspot.com/2014/08/the-chairs-of-chaos.html
Filling up the Cup. Saturday, August 9, 2014. The Chairs of Chaos. Things naturally fall into chaos if they aren't taken care of. Piles of mail and bills and whatnot. I have let a lot of things go in my life. For some strange reason I didn't know life took so much. That it took so much. Let alone improve and grow and blossom and flourish. Look at these chairs:. This is what became of many parts of my life. And I'm not really sure why. Not only did my chairs look like this -. But my house looked like this.

Sunday, December 21, 2014. House Pics: All Moved In. After we've been moved in for almost five months, I finally decided to take all moved in photos last week. Christmas decorations and all! I had been cleaning so I figured I might as well take advantage. Ignore the mess, or don't, it's all part of living and things just don't stay clean very long around here. :). A look around the kitchen:. One of the many uses of the bench, should be getting the cushion done soon.). The office and hallway.

http://greeniefam.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 9, 2013. We had a fun summer. A quick summer, but enjoyable. I think the fact that I now have a school-ager made the summer seem to go by faster. The last few summers we were still on vacation around the time school was starting this year. Here is a little rundown on how our summer went. June: Auntie Keesha got married. The kids LOVE Uncle Scottie. KJ graduated from pre-school. We celebrated Luke's birthday, he turned 3. Wow! July: 4th of July with family. Lainee turned 4! Now, here we ...

Monday, October 3, 2011. KJ turns FOUR and Before and After AGAIN. The next weekend we had a party for him at home and he decided to have a pinata and Pin the nose on Elmo. Oh, and, did I mention he started PRE-SCHOOL? Yes, he did. He is LOVING it. He's just getting so big. I had a harder time dropping him off on the first day then he did with me leaving. Once he was settled he was ready to mingle and for mom to head on home. What's our little man up to these days? Again, SO blessed to not only have the ...

Tuesday, June 18, 2013. Kindergartner, say what? A few tears fell at his graduation and I may be a bit of a mess on the first day of school. I already imagine the ride home after dropping him off for college. A ball of tears, I tell ya. Here are our little pre-schoolers. Here are they on their first and last day of pre-school. KJ's is a comparison from his first and last day of last year also. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). We are a happy family of five, Chad, Jess, KJ, Lainee and Sawyer! So it's been awhile.

He's such a wonderful son and he sure loves his little sister who loves him right back! Love that little guy! Little Miss Lainee is growing, growing! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Best of FUMC. Thursday, July 13, 2017. Bringing Back 25 Random Things About Me. Who remembers when posting 25 Random Things About Me was all the rage on Facebook? At any rate, in the interest of getting reacquainted, I thought it would be fun to resurrect this oldie but goodie. I actually went back to my original Facebook list-some of them no longer apply but there were a couple timeless ones that I left in for good measure. Like the one about tuna. Tuna was and will always be the devil. 6 My four gr...

Filling Up On Thoughts. Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending – Carl Bard. Something a little more local…. I guess I am somewhat more old fashioned than my age might dictate, but that is why I count going to the pub as one of my hobbies, as with the friends that I have, I feel every conversation we have in a pub does help to, not always necessarily increase our knowledge but, at least significantly broaden and open our minds. So, as I ...

Filling Up the Corners | Making people hungry since 2010
Filling Up the Corners. Making people hungry since 2010. What’s in a Name? November 23, 2013. We’ve had many, many mornings since our last post, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been thinking about the blog. A lot. Like multiple times a week. Do you want to hear some of my excuses? Needless to say, mama is fairly tired at the end of the day (yes, exhausted might be closer to the mark, but let’s not discuss the bags under my eyes). Tired enough that sleep takes priority over blogging. But I am. Gently brin...
