Hello world! | Fill the frame
https://filltheframe.wordpress.com/2008/07/17/hello-world
Photography, angles, colours and texture. I’ve never been a fan of Flickr, Photobucket et al. I don’t like all the back slapping, all the “have an award, no have 6! 8221;, the etiquette and politics (“Oh I commented on your’s so you have to comment on mine”). I do like photography. I’m also interested to hear other’s thoughts on my images – what they like about it, don’t like, what they’d change and how etc. This entry was posted on 17 July 2008 at 9:17 am and is filed under General. Otter | Fill the frame
https://filltheframe.wordpress.com/2008/07/18/otter
Photography, angles, colours and texture. This image illustrated nicely a lot of the things I look for in an image:. For me, this image wouldn’t be half a good if the otter wasn’t scratching, it’s fur was smooth and sleek and it was sat on a muddy bank/dead leaves (i.e. brown background) or even if there weren’t buttercups in the grass. Photography, angles, colours and texture. Laquo; Hello world! I try to view things in a different way. Photography for me has 3 purposes – to capture the moment; to aid memory; to be art. This falls into the latter catagory I think. This entry was posted on 17 July 2008 at 11:58 am and is filed under Flowers. You can follow any responses to this entry through the RSS 2.0. Just another WordPress.com weblog. Laquo; Don’t you just love banks. And still it comes. Growing sweet potatoes in Scotland. November 6, 2010. Anyone else out there mad enough to grow sweet potatoes in Scotland? I decided not to bother buying slips again, so the following year I tried to grow my own slips from a shop-bought sweet potato. I know, the slips you can buy have been developed to grow in the UK and those grown in Peru… in Scotland… I know! Yeah, I like a challenge! Tagged veg growing sweet pota...

Just another WordPress.com weblog. Laquo; Growing sweet potatoes in Scotland. Puppy pick and mix. And still it comes. December 2, 2010. We’ve had snow here for over a week now. It was first forecast to last just a couple of days, but by the weekend it looked like it was here for a bit so we ventured out and “did a shop” (AKA any excuse for a Starbucks! Really can’t believe I read this on the Met Office website this morning:. 8220;If you have seen snow recently, please let us know…”. As I was getting read...

Fill The Emptiness With Beauty | Thoughts, Diary Pages & More Love Than People To Love
Fill The Emptiness With Beauty. Thoughts, Diary Pages and More Love Than People To Love. May 30, 2015. Sorry I’ve disappeared for a few months. I haven’t logged in to WordPress or Twitter in quite a while. I’m always wary of being too particular in case what I reveal starts being used against me, but, perhaps ill-advisedly, I feel like trying to explain a little bit of what has been going on with me. But baby steps are all I have right now. Like this post, right here. Baby steps, right? January 4, 2015.
