Friday, 19 March 2010. I have been using Doms Decals for some time now. Http:/ www.domsdecals.com/. They can be a challenge to use as they are a sheet of decals not individual ones like Battlefront for example, but Dom provides a variety of dacals not seen from other manufacturers in 15mm including German Unit markings, British Divisional and weight markings (the yellow circles). On painting table last night. 4 Vampir Panthers (IR Equipped Panthers). 2 Kugelblitz (AA Pz IV tank). Friday, 12 March 2010.

Painting Stuff: Forged in Battle Miniatures
http://filsmodels.blogspot.com/2011/08/forged-in-battle-miniatures.html
Friday, 12 August 2011. Forged in Battle Miniatures. Hi, I featured these in a previous post and thought I’d let you know the results. The figures are flash free and crisp as you’d expect from a newer manufacturer, the guns are easy to put together being in a couple of pieces rather than the 5 or 6 for battlefront equivalents. Here are some pictures of the infantry and Guns. The Tiger in Winter Camo. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). All the new models from the last month. Through hill and dell .

Tuesday, 29 June 2010. Basing Flames of War Infantry. Good basing makes your Army great. A quick tutorial, as many people ask me how I base my infantry. . Vallejo Scorched Earth Paint (Game Colour). Painting Stuff: Plastic Soldier Co T34s
http://filsmodels.blogspot.com/2012/07/plastic-soldier-co-t34s.html
Tuesday, 10 July 2012. Plastic Soldier Co T34s. These were pleasant enough to assemble, slightly more involved than a Battlefront or Combined Arms equivalent. They are proper 15mm which means a little smaller than the Flames of war equivalent, but soooo much cheaper. If you want to game Kursk this is the way to go. I can do them for £50 painted (plus post). Pictures below. These are up on ebay now ready to add to your army or indeed start it. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Through hill and dell .

Painting Stuff: March 2009

Thursday, 19 March 2009. I'll need to make one of these after being lazy and not bothering but as the weather gets hotter and even if not, it's really worthwhile. A wet palette helps prevent your acrylic paints from drying while they are on the palette. (Very handy for summer-time painting). You can buy these but they are simple and cheap to make. Make your self a cup a tea (or beverage of choice and congratulate yourself on the completion of your palette). If you want to be flash make the same palette i...

Thursday, 28 June 2012. Currently on the Workbench. Loads of Hungarian Tanks. I like the late war spray camo scheme the best. All painted now just awaiting weathering.
