Friday, June 29, 2012. Well, we're off early in the morning. Our flight leaves at 8:00 from Denver so James will drive us up bright and early. We've been packed for a couple of weeks and I just had to add a few things here and there. We're both a little nervous about the trip. We've never been away from Alex before so we will definitely miss our boys :-(. Our schedule is pretty crazy some days but I am planning on blogging daily. Enjoy following our adventure! Friday, February 15, 2013. Sick of being sick. This is what it's been like at our house for weeks now. Both kids had the flu last month, both kids have a nasty cough that won't go away, both kids are really. Sick of being stuck in the house all the time. They've both missed waaay to much school! James has had two horrendous colds in the past couple of months and missed more work than I've ever seen him miss. I'd rather have a cold than be dizzy and nauseous all the time. Here's to no more cooties.

Friday, March 29, 2013. Spring Break in the Mountains. We headed to Durango for a few days of doing nothing but relaxing with friends. We rented a beautiful cabin outside of town, what a fantastic view! We had hoped to see some wild life but this is all we saw,. We did some exploring near a lake and the kids had fun playing in the snow. The water at the lake was frozen over but you could tell that the shore line was very low. Angel Eyes from China. TWO Journeys to ONE family. of FOUR! Journey to Meina Journal. May 10, 2010. We are now a Family of FOUR. This morning we woke up (early of course) and knew that it was the day we would meet our second daughter! The van ride to the Civil Affairs office was a mix of emotions. We were both scared and excited. Meina is doing OK right now. She is clearly grieving and cried so hard on the ride back to the room she threw up all over. Poor baby! Well that is all for now. Angel Eyes from China. TWO Journeys to ONE family. of FOUR! Monday, April 25, 2011. Last year it was hailing! Wow, almost a year since our trip to bring Meina home. So much is different this year. First of all Mike is home and not half way across the country in Georgia. Last Easter it was Ramzie and I celebrating by ourselves. This year was a whole different holiday and I LOVED it. Just can't beat that. We went to church service on Saturday night so Sunday we could just hang around and not go anywhere.
