There was an Easter brunch available at one of the prominent jazz clubs in town, the Dakota. We gathered there to dine on their fine faire and it was scrumptious indeed. This left me puzzled until someone explained that it’s “pleather.” You’re right, that’s plastic leather. It really does look good and I have purchased this with full knowledge and acceptance of what I’m doing. I don’t even try to play it off as real leather. I’m too cheap. Or disposable cleaning rags? How do they get to be vegan in the first place? Come one people, just move.
