The Ceaseless Seamstress: January 2012
http://sobesataco.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Sharing the sheer joy and complete madness of creating and managing my shop, SobeSata Co. Visit SobeSata Co on Etsy! Tuesday, January 24, 2012. The Making of a Bag. Started off as Cecilia, with a blue lining and a blue bangle for a handle. As I was making it, the lining was changed to red and the bangle idea was nixed, and I thought about Briony as it's name (.anyone read/seen Atonement? 169; 2012, Laura Manley. First things first, I had to make the pattern. Thankfully being the daughter of an engine...

Fountain: Ethan at 49 weeks
http://milkfountain.blogspot.com/2012/07/ethan-at-49-weeks-old.html
Inspired by a fountain in Positano. Friday, July 27, 2012. Ethan at 49 weeks. I can't get over how much he looks like a little boy instead of a baby! Ethan at 49 weeks old. And its mine,. And he pulled out my sock drawer and put all of his weight on it - pop! Now the drawer is skewed downward. Since it is broken, it doesn't slide straight out, instead falls down - usually on a little foot or leg. There is a heavy barbell in front of it to prevent Ethan from pulling it out on his leg (again). 65279;Ethan ...

Fountain: Ethan's big cousin
http://milkfountain.blogspot.com/2012/08/ethans-big-cousin.html
Inspired by a fountain in Positano. Saturday, August 11, 2012. Writing quickly, as Ethan is eating his afternoon snack and sharing it with the dogs through the baby gate. While he may receive a purple heart and a stipend due to being injured while on duty, nothing will replace the loss of his legs. We are hoping with all of our hearts that he can meet this challenge with the same potivie attitude he has demonstrated throughout his 22 years. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Fountain: October 2011
http://milkfountain.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Inspired by a fountain in Positano. Thursday, October 27, 2011. Ethan at ten weeks old. I had planned to title this one "Boobs and poops" given the focus of the past week, however that could attract some unsavory characters to the blog, so . . . Unfortunately there were no musicians playing under the big live oak like last year (maybe they did on Sunday? It was a beautiful weekend. The weather was chilly, so we bundled up. Bear (pictured) and Roxy (off exploring, or more likely rolling in otter poop).

Fountain: February 2012
http://milkfountain.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Inspired by a fountain in Positano. Friday, February 24, 2012. Ethan at 27 weeks old. Ethan is getting over a head cold - several sleepness nights of coughing and moaning and loss of appetite. Something going around the daycare. The pediatrician told us there is an average of two colds a month for babies in daycare. This does help build up their immune system so they tend to get sick less often later on, but it is really hard to watch and listen to your baby suffering through a cold. He thinks this is ve...

http://milkfountain.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Inspired by a fountain in Positano. Wednesday, March 21, 2012. Thanks to my mature-Mom* friend Kertuliisa for sharing her experience! Beautiful Mommy and daughter! It was a long delivery, 24h, but all went fine in the end. My plan was to give birth at home and in the beginning everything went well. My water broke in the morning of 12th January and that was the first worry. Will the labor begin or not? I did it and without any drugs! Ethan at 7 months. 7 months old now! Ethan at 30 weeks old. The weekend ...

Fountain: May 2012
http://milkfountain.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Inspired by a fountain in Positano. Friday, May 25, 2012. Ethan had a chance last week to enjoy his first kiddie-pool experience. Since he didn't get to really enjoy the one we introduced him to at the river, that doesn't count! We found a smaller pool at a local K-mart. We had to fill the pool up and let it sit in the sun for a few minutes to warm the water. Daddy shows Ethan the pool. We added his bathtub ducks so he would understand this is a fun playtime thing - like a bath. He has the frog kick down!

Inspired by a fountain in Positano. Wednesday, November 30, 2011. Notes for Advanced Age Moms -. Your backs will hurt but you will find yourself holding your little one for hours while he sniffles and struggles to breathe through a cold. There's nothing as heartbreaking as having your baby looking into your eyes while crying desperately for you to. Make it better Mommy. And that's not all - household commitments and obligations continue to accrue -. Since I've gotten the blockages on my left side, I beli...

Fountain: Ethan is One Year Old today!
http://milkfountain.blogspot.com/2012/08/one-year-old-today.html
Inspired by a fountain in Positano. Saturday, August 18, 2012. Ethan is One Year Old today! We began the festivities by eating at Olive Garden Friday night and doing a mini-celebration. The staff do not sing Happy Birthday any more, so it was a little anti-climactic. But the waiter did bring a tray with Happy Birthday Ethan written in berry syrup and a candle. Ethan shared our appetizer and dinner. He ate a lot of food! I decorated the house with a few Pooh-themed decorations . . . Our friend Lisa also c...
