Finca Santa Lucia is a fifteen acre coffee farm located in the Meseta Central (Central Valley) area of Costa Rica. Our farm is north of Grecia in the small village of San Miguel Arriba. We are on the south face of Volcan Poas at an altitude of about 5,000 feet. Today Finca Santa Lucia is a lush, beautiful farm producing superb coffee as well as luscious tropical fruits and vegetables. We strive to incorporate our animals, trees, coffee plants and vegetables into a healthy ecosystem that nourishes itself.

Producing exceptional coffee is a year round process. Although the harvest is from December through February, the growing year actually begins immediately following it. During March and April our workers prune the mature plants that need to be cut back to be re-vitalized. They also cut the weeds, using machetes and shovels, and use the weeds to compost the coffee.
