Sunday, October 31, 2010. Chandler And Becks's Smallest Baby. One of Chandler and Beck's babies ( who's now their smallest one ) was born with a black beak. However as it's growing older, you can see that the beak is slowly changing color to the customary orange. Once the baby is about six weeks, depending on the final color of the beak and the coloration of it's feathers, we'll be able to tell if it's male or female. The baby is the one in the middle. Sunday, February 27, 2011. Our Almost Identical Budgies! We have two budgies who are very similar looking, just that the colors on one of them is much more vibrant than the other! However for someone who sees them for the first time, they tend to look almost identical, and the way they copy each other doesn't help! See what I mean - the photographs will speak for themselves! Here they are sitting together, and trying to copy one another! A third one joins them to see what's going on! Baby Budgie 1 and 2!

Thursday, April 28, 2011. We were out on vacation, and had left the birds with a relative, and while we were away, they opened the cage one day to feed the birds, and Bafin got out and flew away. Sad, sad news - as he was our very first baby finch. He had two small babies when he flew away, so we've decided to call them Bafity and Bin ( as we used to call Bafin, Bafity Bin sometimes ). Monday, March 28, 2011. Our Baby Budgie Gets Wet. One of our baby budgies who's still in the nest got a little wet, as it was raining and some water came inside the nest. We took him out and dried him while we dried the nest. Here are a few photos :). Saturday, March 26, 2011. Chunti is still as hyper active as she used to be, but every once in a while it catches up with her, and she tends to doze off!
