Sunday, November 6, 2011. Halloween.this holiday wears me out! After grandma parties, the trunk-or-treat, wearing costumes to dance, school parties, neighborhood parties, and the actual trick-or-treating, I have to admit that I was ready for it to be over this year. I actually took down all my decorations while waiting for trick-or-treaters. I know, I am a Halloween scrooge! My kids loved every minute of it though. Not to mention that we got more than our money's worth out of their costumes!

Sunday, October 23, 2011. We had to say goodbye to some of our closest friends and neighbors. The Mansells moved to Dallas, Texas in June. We were so sad to see them go. Thursday, July 15, 2010. It was nearly an entire week of celebration! We had to head down to St. George for a wedding and it worked out perfectly that we were able to celebrate with all of those who love Miss Ava so much. Ava woke up to a ribbon covered door, balloons everywhere, presents, and a breakfast of delish. Cupcakes made by Aunt Kelcie. Ava was in heaven and the birthday celebrating was barely beginning. She got all decked out in her birthday duds. Vegas for the day. Cafe, the Lions at MGM Grande.

Happy Birthday to Me! 34 I am old! Boy did I get spoiled. This year my birthday fell over Labor Day weekend so Nate surprised me with a getaway to Park City. The two of us escaped on Friday night and then my parents and kiddos joined us on Saturday. It was so relaxing! The first game did not disappoint. Here's to a great season!

Sunday, October 23, 2011. You Say it's Your Birthday? This was a big one. We wanted to make the day extra special for Liv. Needless to say, it was a jam packed day. Liv's day started out with an early morning water party and pancakes stacked 8 high (a tradition I copied from my friend Nic. What a fun idea! Then, she FINALLY got the pink scooter she'd been asking for over the past 3 years. Good things come to those who wait! Would she order Wisconsin Cheese soup? Yup she is a creature of habit!
