Making Memories with Madison: January 2012
http://makingmemorieswithmadison.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 26, 2012. Look Who’s Talking! We can understand pretty much understand anything she says now! I will never forget as we walked into the doctor’s office a few weeks ago {right before Christmas} and she said clear as day “Doctor said no monkeys jumping on bed” I looked at her and was completely taken off guard. Yes, I have been singing this song to her nonstop for weeks, but for her to just say it out of the blue was incredible! We have a talker and this mommy couldn’t be more proud!

Twintrospectives: November 2011
http://twintrospectives.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Different Shades of Purple. Today is November 17. It is one of the coldest days in my area of Canada so far and the snow began to fall lightly this morning. In I went to work, armed with some purple icing covered cupcakes and all decked out in my favourite purple sweater. In came my colleagues. Hiding under their winter coats, which have recently been pulled out of the darkness of their closets, were different shades of purple. Through the tough times my family, friends and co-workers stood by me. My...

Making Memories with Madison: February 2012
http://makingmemorieswithmadison.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 6, 2012. Happy 2nd Birthday Maddie! Our little girl is TWO! My oh my how time flies when you have kids! I remember my dad telling me when I was pregnant that once I have the baby time will just fly by. He was right (he was right about most things). I love this age (we could do without the occasional tantrum, though). I will write more in detail what Maddie is up to these days in another post-for now I will stick to the party. For food, we had spicy ham biscuits, pasta salad. We have been...

Making Memories with Madison: October 2011
http://makingmemorieswithmadison.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 31, 2011. Maddie the Monkey was in full force this year for Halloween. She had lots of fun going trick or treating. She caught on real quick as what she needed to do to get more candy! Maddie made the perfect monkey, because she loves “monk monks” and it is the first animal sound she could ever say. Remember what she was last year? Wonder what she will be next year? Carter was not as thrilled as Maddie about Halloween. It was too sweet! Checking out the loot! Monday, October 24, 2011.

Thursday, May 3, 2012. Packing, packing, and MORE packing! We are getting ready for our BIG move in less than two weeks! We close on our first house on May 11th and have scheduled the movers for the 14th. I’m so excited about moving, but more excited about being able to get movers for this time around. The hospital has a moving stipend that we are taking full advantage of. Works out perfectly for this pregnant lady! Keep praying for a healthy baby! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). And baby makes FOUR.

Sunday, December 23, 2012. Winter Vacation: the Good, the Bad, and the Best. Drive back toward Washington. It was nice to get away for a few days, and here are some of the highlights of our trip. Having to make our trip over the mountains with packed snow and ice on the road in the evening when it was pitch black with low visibility due to snow and wind. Having new tires with good traction, eliminating the need for putting on chains while driving in snowy conditions. After already going over 30 miles sin...
