Raising Daisies: Work With Alli
http://raising-daisies.blogspot.com/p/shaklee.html
When our first daughter was born, I left my 15 year marketing career to stay home with her while I pursued a teaching degree in hopes of switching to a more family friendly career. The plan was for me to be home for 6 months, then return to work at least part-time until I finished school and could return to a full-time income. That is when I stumbled on Shaklee. I believe in this company, their products, and my future. And, I am helping others live healthier, happier lives in the process! Here are a few ...

Saturday, February 8, 2014. How I won the lice battle in 5 days with NO chemicals. As it turns out, yes she could. I immediately picked Mia up from school knowing she couldn't return until she was 100% nit free. I had so many emotions. I felt embarrassed and mortified. How did we let this happen? We are clean people! I was overwhelmed and scared, but mostly I felt terrible for Mia. I had no idea what to do. I mean, what the heck is a nit? Here is how we did it:. Next was the Basic H. In a small 4 oz bott...

Raising Daisies: Perfect Mashed Sweet Potatoes
http://raising-daisies.blogspot.com/2012/06/perfect-mashed-sweet-potatoes.html
Friday, June 1, 2012. Perfect Mashed Sweet Potatoes. Photo via Cookscountry.com. This is the only way I cook them now. The trick is to slowly let them steam. Themselves in their own juices instead of boiling all the flavor out of them. The result is nothing short of perfectly flavored sweet potatoes that don't need any additional sugar or butter. We serve these with pretty much anything. They go great with pork chops or steak. We had them the other night with sirloin kabobs. 2 tbsp heavy cream.

By now, you all know how nuts I am about these products. In fact, I have replaced my entire cleaning arsenal with the Get Clean line. I could go on and on about them, but the only way to really know how good they are is to try them yourself! In fact the Get Clean line. Outperforms 20 national leading brands. Yep. Seriously. Non-toxic, all natural. Biodegradable surfactants. No phosphates. No borates. No nitrates. None of the yucky stuff. No Joke. One bottle of Basic H2. Better for the planet:.
