Just another WordPress.com site. Finding Litz's Blog. Saying Goodbye to 2014. 2014 was an interesting year for me. It was a year of many valleys – an abusive relationship, a 7-day engagement, visiting an ER in another country, an 8-day hospital stay a week later, developing serum sickness from Humira, just to name a few…. (I am not sure that I want to spend much time explaining these experiences – and the reason I did not blog during 2014.). Signed, a cautiously optimistic Litz. Unknown strength to change.

I recently found myself in a situation that allowed me to play the other side of the exchange, and though I cannot claim my actions as smooth or graceful, I was truly blessed to see and feel both sides of the issue. In finding the courage to initiate and follow through on a hard conversation, I found the courage to practice a new approach myself! How did I let go of the pain and distrust so easily? Thursday, September 19, 2013. I am a frightening, frightened control freak. I realized about a month ago that I'm a control freak. I'm not sure why I didn't see it this way or recognize it as this earlier, but for whatever reason, I've finally been able to give it a name.
